Priesthood (For Spraycans)
1-23-18
Say not, "It is finished"
Pull not the plug to the plainness of truth
As if we are freed from sin
Ten commandments more than just suggestions
As people are appeased
Ye look upon me as a teacher almost eighteen years ago
I am given a vision to instruct one in consciences
By our microscopy still disillusioned about technology
O, power Pythagoras for private privilage throughout the chalice
Remember not to interrupt as in times like these
Talk gets one nowhere in that I am somewhere
And God chooses his prophets
Under Hinkley given time to work on something....
Just Being Honest
1-23-18
In the height of the storm
Do we determine just what treasure is
As our pioneer prevails saying to himself, "It isn't so bad"
Yet in my overindulgence
Do it one more time this evening
As to let ones soul delight in fatness
There you go, my main man
Be the winner today for ones herring in a can
In a place where it does not apply
Dying to believe in what I hear when I go there
Just be honest, she says
And never mind the nightmare....
Lieu of Leisure
1-23-18
I was panicking about picnicking
And starving at feasts of fasts
For the die it casts
O, how great His condescensions
As to unlock doors on purpose
As to scatter our seed until we begin to believe in ourselves
By the tension building on ones face where it must needs be expedient
That I go there today and see them
O, how unreal it seems to be in what we feel and all we see
As this shall be a land of liberty
By which I pack everything save the bathroom sink
And lieu of leisure....
