Our Ralph Henry
2-11-18
To yet resemble all I am transmitting
Awarded the Ralph Henry Gabriel Prize
Down at the university where it all begins again
Seeing the joy in a fellow neighbor
And the glory of the love that lingers
In holding one charity and all of our verity
As a work of art and rarity
Come instance with assurance
Giving things for my benefits
Wishing and wanting not to give up so easily
As tonight God willing sleep will come sweet
As to blind one by sunlight through gospel glasses....
Of Home Decor
2-11-18
Hearing false chimes between stanzas and bars
Loving yet classic cans
May as well be on Mars for class culture
And mass society
Our children are born
Learning afresh how to love the light
Out of the tirquoise into the indigo
O, the analogy allowing minor obligations
Wings on our heels against all our needs
Our blood flows like rivers of viniffera
Many if not most yet boast
All the way to the west coast
For home decor
It's all in what you choose today
As it is clear that it's no dream at all.....
I Don't Mind
2-11-18
No promises kept on days when I overslept
All for the New Pilgrim's Progress
Our innocents come forth and tell their story of swans, geese and ducks
As to capture the full picture of fighting for my life
To stay awake in comparison apparently I came
But I don't mind like I should
For the gospel and its warmth and brightness
For the guitar string and its tightness
As in being some account in the steamship
Not just a sound of our times
But a right to choose our Quaker City's pleasure...
Back In Hartford
2-11-18
In loss of personal conversation you gain
Of watching and talking affectionately inscribed today
I walk it back in talk of lack
Companion not just a sign of the times
Having a backup plan in mind
Out my back door to whisper, "God, please be kind"
For pride fostered in humanity at the north country fair
And south suburb carnival and a snowman with a smile on his face
As I recover from one more hour's rest
Now that I'm up I will do my best
In similar phenomena go see for me in conclusion
An eclipse can blind us....
