Harbinger Revisited
2-2-18
What good am I
Lord, O have we been deceived by alternative creeds of cream
As I apply the second edition and make due with all perdition
Incurred for earlier delivery in astounding winter skies
As the terebinth and as the oak
I go out for another smoke at the end of our aqueduct
Sidetracked by my other books not just for my good looks
Our harbinger of fate to regenerate
And of course restore
Hard pressed and hungry....
O, Vesta
2-2-18
As the past is close behind
In weeds not to be morose in heart and mind
In a fantasy come true
I try to get through to you
As today I have other pursuits dealing with those of captivity
As to be shattered and make an uproar
This she did as she takes her medicine inasmuch
As the people refuse Newton and Edison
O, hasten the spoil in our wild maze of childish nonsense
As so did witness Uriah by the river Euphrates
Staying true to you....
Speak The Word
2-2-18
Spells come off us
All for World's Classics for gravity, nature's weakest force
O, change my heart where the wheels have stoppped
Of when Jehovah remembers promises to cypresses of Wyoming
Let Him be your dread reflecting the stars
Finally free inasmuch as these people refuse
I'm not used to it anymore
Today are other playwrights for as well
Saxophones and flutes by the waters of the river mighty and strong
And just be where I need to tag along
Speak the Word and it shall stand....
On Isaiah 8:10
2-2-18
As to be shattered
Giving me a good tickling for tall grass
And those I love rejoining the swill
Patience dipped in crab salad
By the ancient fences of erstwhile and clambering at the gates
It's all good in Yorkers as to greet Berhowitz again in serious jeopardy
At Guyand the sun sinking like a ship
We are for signs and wonders
Wanting to go a little bit further today
With these crazy books and God is with us.....
