back in Bashan

Back In Bashan
3-16-16

But they have no comforter
At Bashan, our soft, rich and fertile soil
East of the sea of Galilee
Some are born to run
And some are born to fly
In still waters of quietness
Some are born to swim
To anoint and make fat
Life is more than the papermate upon the tablet
I am a worm and no man
Come God's blessing of the King
To take this life of questioning with you
By His side and His right hand
Who knows the Spirit of sons of men
So that I might today take up the pen
And follow the light of heritage...

Plea For Help From The Sanctuary
3-16-16

Seeing you as you are to see them abiding
In the vine that doesn't struggle for fruit upon the stem
O, continue in neuroplasticity
And the learning of new languages
Plea for help from the sanctuary
Yet to defend you and set us on a high place
Come Strength our Rock
Height, breadth and length
To feed the flocks
Allowing not the holy One to see corruption
Today I choose the joy
Soon to come clean again
And step out and shine God's light
In that He never asks for whom do I toil
Anointed with fresh oil....

On Ecclesiastes 3:22
3-16-16

These days are blessing
Even in ungodliness of Belial
We can see through the smokescreen
For Zion our mountain sunny
Our horn, our strength
Our military power only in the sense of the pens in my army
But not for violence
She tells me to assume a moment of silence
And says that I don't need to always be talking
Cry for mercy on the eight stringed harp
My bones are vexed for what is coming next
Value of today
Do not rebuke me in your sore displeasure
Nothing is better for a man than to rejoice in his good works....
