cataloni

Cataloni: Revisited
3-16-16

It can happen to everyone eventually
Who knows who's right
To you who are troubled, rest with us
For another individualist
An architect of life and words that linger
This is for us to see before the road bumps the pen away
She slips O race of rage
For the page a bird escapes from his cage
How does it feel to have an influential tongue of magnetic ink
And diamonds and pearls at you heels
Stepping in a puddle of tomato sauce
It can bring your soul alive
O, cataloni
Where is the compassion...

Cataloni (Revisited Again)
3-16-16

Climbing out of the sky
The days get longer
You prefer the darkness
You step towards the other side
You know you missed the bus intentionally
To look into the mirror and see my happiness
I wish that I could tell you how I feel
For a dream comes through a multitude of business
As changes are taking their places
On a stage of serenity
Upward the spirit of the primal within as the spring
As if they should have put clocks on one way signs
To make it legal on Elm Street
To drive both ways at the chime of eight
I get on with it
For life's oppressions and inequalities.....
