Measure
9-26-12
Even the wilderness wanderers find their way
In the darkness upon which light begins to shine
Prone to rove and traverse through fields of wheat
Where the tares are permitted to grow thereby
Give today the gift of a measuring stick
As a parable to yet explain such judgment
That is needed to set a standard
In a world that has gone astray
Far from the Way....
Out Of Egypt
9-26-12
Some yet trust in the shadow
Of the Egypt where they came from
Grasping and clinging to old ways that feel good
To hold onto rebuilding their pyramids
Upon the shifting sand
So that by this they might come to understand
In trusting in the fall of a Pharaoh
For better times yet to be...
Wanting To Believe
9-26-12
Wanting to believe in a heaven
Where we will all understand each other
A place of plentiful gifts to abound in the treasure
In a heaven so that I hope for
Something better than what I see before me
Such a hope in what I cannot see
Wanting to believe....
