daily provision

Daily Provision
2-17-16

Would you leave me on my own
You left me standing all alone
To cut me down to size
As you hide your eyes
A song at the dedication of such a course
I cried out to you and you healed me
O, Lord God I will give you thanks forever
For such as had ability to stand in the king's palace
Saying my prayers for Ozzy and Alice
even they are much in God's eyes
O, how dare say
O, so far this guise
The voice of the Lord is full of majesty
Give it fifteen more minutes
Somewhere unforgiven
Today Jesus is my strength....

Spake To Melzar
2-17-16

Don't you see how far it's gone away
And you don't have to let it go
Jesus may it be for me today
I said a prayer that I would never wake up
And now the light of day has come
As Daniel purposed in his heart
That he would not defile himself with the provision of the king's meat
Another plea for God's protection and praise for deliverance
And another blackbird shackle and a goal keeper to tackle behind the scenes
I grind my means as Daniel begs to Melzar for steak and greens
The Lord is their strength and he is the saving refuge of his anointed.....

On Daniel 1:19
2-17-16

You hid your face and I was troubled
I still hid your grace yet burst and bubbled
To turn away from the love and its measure
Once you have spoken for tender love with the prince of eunuchs
And another clean shave for the record alone  and many lines to save
A mile outside of town my stone stepping forests bare
What's the use of being found
You have put off my sackcloth
O, will the dust praise you
At the end of ten days
Their countenance appear fairer
Reaching for sunlight but I suppose
This is as bright as it gets
Still looking for Shoshannim
Just a mile outside of town
And the king communed with them...
