Kenaf
2-16-16
I step out
Not too late, not too soon
Even though I might doubt
I reach in the bag and draw another rune
Incline your ear unto me and hear my speech
Into a void within
A noise at last
And strength in general
Hide me under the shadow of your wings
The waitress said that this is the way it should be
For kenaf and mallow
Resembling jute yielding fiber
Blessed are those that wait for Him
Our ungodliness in the Hebrew Belial
Also blameless before him
Cliché wasted, sham test tasted
Attention span snaps back on the verge of pointless
The Lord will wait
Blessed are all that wait for him
Where coals are kindled
Quicken me according to thine Word
I step out...
Staying Busy
2-16-16
Then the implements of the sea are seen
And the foundations of the world uncovered
For your setting sun and your little drum
To never forget you
So my feet did not slip
I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them
You enlarged my path under me
Day to day to utter speech
Being apt to teach
Subdued and caused to bow to the Now
Yet glued where all I choose to say is hey, wow
Arduous this anticipation
Bearing tears in the chapters
Father said for me to stay busy
And so I stay on task
So you won't need to ask
According to the cleanness of my hands
This beats last Tuesday
At the blast of a breath of his nonstrils
Stay busy....
On Isaiah 30:22 (dig this)
2-16-16
Cast them away as a monstrous cloth
You have delivered me from the violent
The Lord liveth
Blessed be my rock
P.S. I wrote this song
Wait for her to call you
This is the Way
Walk Ye, what can I say
But O, talk thee
Some need diamonds
Some need love
O, set me on a high place
And have me to remember grace
I've got a suitcase full of songs
Not arduous
Ye defile also the covering of graven images
Of silver and gold
Save, Lord!
May the King answer us when we call
If he calls today then talk about it....
