Dashiki

Dashiki
4-13-16

I cry until I love
I fly into the firmament above
Holding Him nigh but not to push or shove
Whom pluck off their skin from off hem
In hopes to cough up phlegm
And their flesh from off their bones
As I allow it to be
It needs not have control over me
Our elevated irregularity toothed ribeye
When I come to it I will cross that bridge
I peer through the window and knock at the door
And their flesh from off their bones we peel
O, how do you feel....

Dashiki (Part 2)
4-13-16

Come the manifestation of the resurrection
He walks slow but in the right direction
Folded in your fleshly purse
It doesn't need to be a curse
I am here for a reason
But not only to graze and nurse
"It is finished"
So is the shout of triumph over ones fears
Writing out the events of that day
Pumping rhythm
Precious building
Wave on wave
And they break their bones
All for pistachio ice cream cones clad in dashiki
I am ascending to the father
And today I know victory in my Jesus
To Mary he appears
To get a handle on our fears...
