Communion

There is communion of my contribution
When I go back to my class on my Tuesday
Of sharing with the group all that I have seen
On my darkest of days defined as this participation
That I choose on my own accord
In such a communion
Where we share one faith in the good Lord
Committing to memory the twelve sons of Jacob
For the purpose of communion
Of the things we all share
In coming together again....




Uncircumcised
8-25-12

I am yet uncircumcised
Dissolute, obstinate, heathen and unregenerate
And I suppose I will always be
These qualities in being just who I am
Still subject to submission to higher paths yet to travel
In repetitive dreams where I practice my future dayjob
In the next world I am given a glimpse of
In that I almost die there
Yet God has his mercy
And I wake again on a Sunday morning....
