There is significance
In what seems to be a fruitless search
Which is why this morning I go to church
Stated in the present tense
On a low limb I perch
When the curtain falls I pray for peace
Yes, I pray and not cease
Not seeking after any of such golden fleece
Beyond space and time
So is the writing of another rhyme
I am without limit and without form
I am One to transcend the so-called norm
I am the bliss of the universe
In dreams of my optimum collage dorm
There is significance....

When thoughts are not in alignment with desires
So is the signal of the negative
Just as well necessary
To stay grounded in a sin sick earth
Where many seek renewal and rebirth
O, it all seems so fruitless
Wanting to bless the day of my birth
Seeming today to be just spinning my wheels
Where what I think doth influence just how it feels
O, why can't we stay that way
Like clementine peels
And the seeds yet to scatter
O, make it matter...

Ego doth serve as out limitation
Making one real and no more after the imitation
Trying to impress the theme of the empty
Whatever that can mean
O, million accomplished
I came, I saw, I conquered
Come the whine at noon
I know victory
Most of us have closed their accounts with reality
Like the real me joining another bank
For the money that is nothing but vanity and vexation of spirit
We know it well
Ego doth serve as our hindrance
May it not be so
O, transcend in reaching out....
