Flackery
3-31-16
Those whom weave with fine fabric
Will be proud and then soon ashamed of dignity for what it is
Ye see distress how Jerusalem is laid waste
And gates are burned
Come let us build new walls
Just so we can knock them down again
Flaccid and lacking force
Drawing from an inexhaustible source
For flackery and publicity most of us seek
I flake out in the late afternoon
To dream of living other lives flaky and eccentric
Like a walking shadow in my brian
Princes of Noph delude Egypt
For all pleasure and pain
To live is Christ and to die is gain...
Mainstay
3-31-16
Come the mainstay of the tribes
Robin flies away when I send her positive vibes
Of our impending conquest
A drunken man staggers in his own vomit
I'm looking the world over
Far into the east to darn and mend
I feel the change coming on
Sorrows?
Halelijiah anyway
Faith is doing what you can't see through
Spirit glad and flesh vexed
The bible is more to me than just sacred text
It's between you and I to determine what's next
All for Tartan
I'm looking out for a black dodge van
Branch and bulrush will do....
"Pay he School A Visit", God Says
3-31-16
In the manger with my stranger
In God I am not in danger
As so I write the music for the whiporwhils
Ministers include us all
Pile on the dust
I do the same thing
These things command and teach
Brick by brick
A prayer for the gentile giant
If not growing then you're dying
Pay the school a visit
Give knowledge a chance
Fiding myself in the raging storm
Apostle Paul's time was short
So he wrote one more letter
To those who needed to hear about it
It's all good
Where God commands the Medes
Besiege, O Media....
