My Guards
8-25-12
Four of my quaternions
Guard the peculiar treasure of my heat
That I cherish in the wisdom and knowledge
That I have come across
Yet in no need to go to collage
As heaven laughs on yesterday's calamity
Serving as a simulation
Of a rehearsal for the part I'll play upon the stage
Set for poets whom set their hearts to speak out about it....
On The Thirteenth Chapter Of Acts
8-25-12
The sorcerer at Paphos comes on the scene
In my reading again of Acts chapter thirteen
Coming along with the deputy
To see what lies in store
For those that have the will to go there
To places right around the corner from here
where I wait for the new drug
To work on my behalf
In hearing Paul's sermon at Antioch
To serve as a key to every lock
And because of such a speech
Many will find their way....
On Psalm 10:13 (dig this)
8-25-12
On that day I had not the heart to disdain, contemn, nor spurn
Setting aside my precious pride
In that I still have much to learn
As I spend this uneventful Saturday at home with pens and brew
Yet to be requited of the love I mean to share
If ever one day I am to boldly return in the sincerity of my passion
To yet persist....
On Proverbs 10:25 (dig this)
8-25-12
The desire of the righteous is granted
In that I want to do the right thing
To call and say that I'm already well fed
In that I exercise my gratitude
For what I already have in my hands
On here and now in this desire for righteousness
In being truthful of where I stand in declining from the main thing.....
