Entitled
9-28-14
Come the appointed duty of Eleazar
Concerning the oil and its light
We might think ourselves to be entitled
And to have every right
She says I'm not going to find it
In writing these rhymes
But I must say that such doth prepare my heart
For trying times
I always come out of it
With a stronger back
Laden down with a cart full of sheaves
O, do not cut off the tribe
Of the families of the Kohathites
Come the changing of autumn leaves....
On Numbers 4:22
9-28-14
I'm taking it one day at a time
Hoping not to be on the way to ruin
Come such a rhythm and rhyme
As cold air floweth through my east wall
For a dollar and a dime
I'm willing to pay the price for this comfort
And not commit a crime
Yes, it's all by God's undeserved kindness
By his grace in space
And time come the service of the Gershonites
O, take this census and make not haste
Taking it one day at a time.....
Praise Is Due
9-28-14
Incorporating another blue pen into my practice
That make perfect come flowers language of emotions
Of rivers raging to deeper vast oceans
Where negativity hides the what is from ones view
To inspire another pen
Here, new, true and blue
Setting aside leftover chicken
For the me that lieth in you
And meanwhile the snowfall has her mood swings
And a world of white cometh into view
According to ones short lived cells
You get a new you every three months or so
Praise is but due....
