Melange
12-29-15
Here, a constant page
Our newfangled freedom
I want to believe even more now
Looking for Machiavolli
Indifferent yet moral
Insignificant but grand
There is so much more to life than this
Rising in central Wales, our Severn
I dream of going there again
Where floods abate
And the rains let up
As Stephen addresses the Sanhedrin
Upon their new belief for another mélange
What ever goes down today
God is still on his throne
And we need not go it alone...
Dithyramb
12-29-15
I just happened to be there
To hold a door for a spiritual grandmother
In the process of sublimation
And another dithyramb
Frenzied and inebriated
I do my victory dance tomorrow afternoon
But, O why not right now
On stage yet terrestrial
For Edom and the children of Ammon
In the utmost corners
We put on a good show
All yet uncircumcised
For chyle and its extract
Of her milk and bliss
I've always known through thick and thin
Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us
But those that have ears to hear
Let them hear...

Dacoit
12-29-15
Third persecution
Stephen brought before the council
Of a laying on of hands
The bible scholar finally understands
To find the way in continuous lucubration
To obviate and render unnecessary
That which we can let go of
And put into the hands of God
O, Dacier our dacoit
Of our robbed band and our gang in Burma
Let not the wise glory in his wisdom
Neither have the mighty to glory in his own strength
Working with the wheels till we get our facts learned
And I believe in the Love....
Recommendations
12-29-15
Looking for Bossuet
And our philosophical treatise on history
Like in the book of Acts
Author: Luke
Looking as well for Longinus
I highly recommend these even if I never seen them for myself
And in duality a contradiction of terms
I love your guts and I want your germs
Clad in my Kurt Cobain hairstyle
It's a wonder I can even see
Alive but dead to myself
And we as He but me
To the water he said that on that day I cried
Springsteen said this
O, what a segue such as this
I highly recommend it...
Fobbed (Not Our Fate)
12-29-15
O, Chamont, where have you been hiding
The keys to your daddy's Cadillac
To be in the backseat riding
Behold the days come with ice on this unnamed street
For another champignon
Let love reign in our minds today
Until we start seeing things that are not there
Coeval reverential
Trust and the hatred of evil
Fobbed and cheated
Another champignon to yet spute
Saying happy new years and Merry Christmas
Still works like a sermon
In one breath upon the Severn in Ontario
It's time to go fishing....

Hudibrastic
12-29-15
My nines and sixes
Have been coming up ones and twos
And I have walked after the imagination
Behold, I will feed them with wormwood
And give them to drink the water of gall
Making my request to never fall
But be willing to talk in having another Pall Mall
All for habiliment
And the words of apostle Paul
Today I ought to serve someone
For a voice of waiting is heard
Sending for cunning women
That they may leave us
By internal dissention....
Unkempt (Glad To Be)
12-29-15
Unkempt
I've stumbled
I've made my mistakes
As all fall short
For garb and habiliment
Soon to be our first snowflakes
O, Hudibras nice to meet you
Here for champagne on ice
Looking for Hudson our British naturalist
And so much more than what we as bearers can fathom
In our green mansions
Let you ear receive the word of his mouth
Come internal dissention overcome with love
As death is come up into our windows
A part of life
I suppose that Jesus knows
Unkempt but glad to be
Speak, thus saith the Spirit...
On Jeremiah 9:22 (look this up)
12-29-15
Don't waste your time waiting
Take up the pen for love
That will quell all hating
Death, the shadow of life
Enters into our palaces
For our elixir of choice
In cardboard chalices
With lids where lids are for kids
Namely me
Even the carcasses of men shall fall
And dung upon the open field
As the handful after the harvestman
And none shall gather them
Don't waste you time waiting...

milady
Milady (Chic)
12-29-15
Our milady chic and another sweet horror flick
Shall I not visit them
Shall not my soul be avenged
O, Milarepa
Don't give up so easily
For the mountain I will take up a wailing
The house reeks of cat dung
But at least I'm still yet young
Always thinking the worst case scenario
That's when I crossed my heart
Their tongue is an arrow shot out
In the face of fear and doubt
Come the answer of the Apostles
And findings of our dinosaur fossils
That's when I crossed my heart
Rain comes in from the south
In his heart he lay in wait....
Coadjutor
12-29-15
Heading out equipped
And then I crossed my heart
Winded and here to die and live again
Coffee is served
O, shall not my soul be avenged
For the habitations of the wilderness
Here in the dark
It's just me and you
Our fowls and beasts have fled
The rain lets up
And now you know that you can
Someday my love again will rise
Why not today
Saddling as wild horse to be your prince charming
A hussy brazen and impudent
We are far from being pure and prudent
I will make Jerusalem as heaps....
Coworker
12-29-15
For our coworker and assistant
And rusty can of beer
For our coadunate closely crowned together and united
Who is the wise man but he whom seeks to conquer himself
Who is he that might understand this making
Jerusalem, a den of dragons making cities desolate
Getting back on those wagons
Looking for Hogarth Whilome
And formerly O, Circassia
How have you been these days
I've been praying for you to shine and flourish
I will scatter them also
Giving them water of gall....

sackwhey
Sackwhey
12-28-15
Second persecution
The high priest rose up
And before I go I'll have one more cup
To keep from dying and fading away
To times of looking the other way
O, sackwhey just do your thing
O, grasier stand up and sing
And they bend their tongues
As God so will fill their lungs
Another nostrum
But at least this one works
Apostles beaten and commanded to silence
A symbol for the imagination
The laying on of hands
The bible scholar understands
Time to head on out to shop for what I want and need...
Craving At Five
12-29-15
I've got the fortunes of heaven
Where we were the pretenders
decided not to smoke due to the rainy conditions
And many more missions
Take heed to everyone his neighbor
And may compassion be the fruit of your labor
For every brother doth supplant and walk with slanders
Ain't not bread from heavenly skies
And at the chime of five
I crave the more for whey of milk
And our grass roots of where I come from
Bending tongues like a bow for truth...
Face The Rain
12-29-15
The nostrum and balm
I get a good head start
Today is the meeting of the minds
Becoming an argot
To read the Sutras aphrodisiac and doctrinal
Night of the gospel's rain
Your dwelling in the midst of receipt
Wearing themselves to do good
Every one to his neighbor
Behold I melt them and try them
O, Milarepa
Will you face the rain and have one on me....

honester
Honester
12-28-15
For honester and honewert
It all works out on paper
Giving it power in writing it down
O, Calabalaro
With nothing left to prove
Of malignant virulence
Our charnelyard and such repository
To ride on his train
You don't need a ride it alone
As internal dissention is overcome by love
By protective mechanisms
For behold I will send serpents
O, have a heart when I would confront myself against all sorrow
There is always hope in tomorrow....
Depredation
12-28-15
Our Perry for Perrault
Another word here to exalt
My heart was faint in me
Stop here for awhile to watch and pray
Slept another two hours
Oft refreshed
She'd like to hear that last bell ring
Yet to depredate, pillage and ransack
And stay out of the sack
Behold the voice and the cry of our daughter
Beneath the sunshine and icicles
Is not the Lord in Zion
Taking my time from my grandfather clocks
Hitting the rest button upon my lamb and mutton...
On Jeremiah 9:1,2
12-28-15
Truth towers like a cliff
And we understand it
Here is a climber who cannot find his eyes
The harvest is past and the summer has ended
And we are all saved
O, that my head were waters
And my eyes a fountain of tears
Connection and embarking
O, that I had in the wilderness
A lodging place of wayfaring men
That I might leave my people
For they be all adulterers
For the cause of love, peace and joy
Against which there are no laws
An assembly of treacherous men
I'm getting a little bit stronger in all of this....

unabashed
Unabashed
12-28-15
Hearing the hurt of the daughter of my people
Feeling my shirt for the slaughter of such a steeple
God bless those on shift
As the wise are ashamed, dismayed and taken
From the prophet to the priest
Every one deals falsely
Yet unabashed and not disconcerted
Tomorrow the gig is on for our infidelism
Keep on rocking tonight amative
And God knows that I'll live
All for Antipas
Come voluntary sharing
Time to go over and speak from my heart
Unabashed....
Thread-Voice
12-28-15
I found a new dream of edge, rim and flange
O, carry me above the world of collar and wheel
She was crying wishing she could be free, unabashed
It's looking good
Ambiguous
Carved in wood
For David, the beloved
For the gathering of the harvest
She'd like to hear that last bell ring
For voluntary slaying among the believers
Of one heart and of one soul for exhortation
Heard if not seen
This is my passion
With my right thumb calloused
And green with a love in my destiny for my thread
Voice living in the future
But between here and now
By choice on the brink....
Davening
12-28-15
Assignation allotted
I's crossed and T's dotted
Truth towers like a cliff
Love dangles by the thread in these resources inexhaustible
To but flummox and recycle on broken cloudy days
Nights grow cold
What you believe comes true
Why do we not sit still
Assemble yourselves and let us enter in
The harvest is right before our eyes
Let us be silent there to take in another passionate sunrise
For genmendacy
Like a ghost out in the night
Davening liturgical prayers of utterance
Made known to be courageous
And the rulers are gathered together....
Well-Disposed
12-28-15
We look for peace and God doth but come
If we believe it to be
Unable to remember how to paint his face
Staring at the image slowly getting cleared
The snorting of horses heard from Dan
Naked in the rain
The best way we can
Of bandwidth and its numerical difference
And the assembly of God
For the reading of law and peace
For electromagnetic radiation
Our assigned range of radio frequencies
Today ninety is my limit
And love works out
No use in hiding behind the clouds
To obey is to believe
O, love work out!

bestride
Bestrid
12-28-15
As death will be chosen
And our fingers be frozen
We all have to fly someday
O, shall they fall and not arise
God, don't leave me here stranded
Need to wreck my Chevy
To ride tomorrow in a Limouzine
Yet bestrid our Orpheus Thracian
with the power to move inanimate objects
Yeah, even these have a consciousness
The page is turned
Let it be known
Bestrid and stranded for our Eurydice
Soon I go over to see the local shrink
Comment not intended in such a way
Ambiguous
I cannot deny it...
Cremona (On the Po)
12-28-15
Why then are we slidden back
Why now do I still write in the dark
I won't quit till I'm a star
Going supernova
Going to Cremona east southeast of Milan on the Po
In case we don't know
For pillowbeer and a new beginning is near
For the polisher of refinement and elegance in style tomorrow
The gig is on but today I get what I need
Willie is in heaven with his weed
Unless such was but a rumor
Yet a beau, the stork of heaven knows her anointed times
Jesus has got this...
Armed With A Javelin
12-28-15
Yet a beau, yet a dandy
Yet a fop with an attitude to cop
For the turtle, crane and swallow
In bliss we will wallow
Seems like an easy thing to let it go for one more day
Why did the nations rage
For birds content in their cage
The kings of the earth took their stand
And Jesus has got this
Observing the time of such a coming
As my people know not this judgement
Searching for equality
How do you say we are vile
Armed with a javelin
Can't put it down
With all things in common....

bilge water
Bilge Water
12-28-15
Nothing I say is written in stone
Setting their abominations in the house called by my name
Shave that beard stubble and call it a morning
And accept the light that comes to pass
Supernal and celestial
Coming from thee
Try these blessings
Loving my new black socks
At Delos on the Aegean
Our rondure
Don't cry but if thou must so be it
Be true to thine self and pour that coffee
Of bilge water
As Peter addresses the Sandhedrin
She taught him how to dance....
Nereid
12-28-15
Something about freedom
We thought he did not know
Although their love was hanging on a limb
For our Nereid we gaze into the sky
Eighth in distance our satellite of Neptune
She gave it all she gave
Days come when it be no more called Tophet
Nor the valley of the son of Himmon
Come the first persecution
Swinging in the silence between notes
And space between
In an empty room
O, so full of the voice of mirth
The money hits the table and the deal is going down...
Otway
12-28-15
The money changes hands
Too much, too fast
In the valley of slaughter
We bring gifts for our daughter
At that time they shall bring out the bones of the kings
He kills the bull and lives another day
To be spread before the sun and moon
No more dead having so much fun
Getting my guitar in tune
Son of Elkanah
The heard of God
Looking for Rowe, our poet Laureate
Coming out of our graves
Looking for Wycherly and the plain dealer
Our Otway
Never to get around to them all
May this serve you well....

paultry
Paultry
12-28-15
See thou not what they do
But who are they
I believe there is a heaven
But so do the devils
In a castle dark
For our Paultry and Paulist
For our paunch and rumen
And the first apostolic miracle
Fellowship among the factors of this
You'll do just fine
In that you serve your neighbor
My potbelly of such a ruminant
Known as Peter's second sermon
Words were passed in a shotgun blast
Yeah, you will do just fine
Theme: The covenant will be fulfilled
For our lucubration....
Lucubration
12-28-15
All for our Thebais
But still putting God first
Soon I will thirst
Staid, with all bills paid
And often a straightlaced sense
O, smoke one more and stay in the present tense
Sober and still serious and subtle as this thing command I them
Extension: three thousand baptized
For our first church of doctrine and teaching
And faraway outreaching
Another lame man to be healed on the Sabbath
Among the factions which are present
Come the ninth hour I get ready
Stop here for awhile and watch and pray
All else can wait....
Luculent
12-28-15
Send us a cheeseburger and a new Rolling Stone
And to the republic
I feel like meat on the street
Slept till noon, oft refreshed
Another tonglen
It's good to be free
Quite luculent, lucid and clear
Coffee is served
In heaven there is no fear
One hour till my divine appointment
Since the day that your fathers come out of Egypt
And to the republic
Daily rising up early
We incline not an ear
Let grow long thine hair
And take up joy
O, truth seems to be perished
With so much to create and destroy...
12-28-15
See thou not what they do
But who are they
I believe there is a heaven
But so do the devils
In a castle dark
For our Paultry and Paulist
For our paunch and rumen
And the first apostolic miracle
Fellowship among the factors of this
You'll do just fine
In that you serve your neighbor
My potbelly of such a ruminant
Known as Peter's second sermon
Words were passed in a shotgun blast
Yeah, you will do just fine
Theme: The covenant will be fulfilled
For our lucubration....
Lucubration
12-28-15
All for our Thebais
But still putting God first
Soon I will thirst
Staid, with all bills paid
And often a straightlaced sense
O, smoke one more and stay in the present tense
Sober and still serious and subtle as this thing command I them
Extension: three thousand baptized
For our first church of doctrine and teaching
And faraway outreaching
Another lame man to be healed on the Sabbath
Among the factions which are present
Come the ninth hour I get ready
Stop here for awhile and watch and pray
All else can wait....
Luculent

Concomitant
12-28-15
Some inquire "Is Willie really gone?"
Or was it only a rumor
I spake to you rising up early
Concurringly given comfortable words from a guide
And hopes for the next several years, God willing
Concomitant, I choose this joy
To leave and depart hurriedly
Because I want to go somewhere
Such a course called by my name
The new album is amazing
The moon will shine her light now waning
Come the second hour I can now get on with it
Whoever calls on the name will be saved
And the liquor tasted good....
Children Gather Wood
12-28-15
She'll be flying o'er my home
And I cast you out of my sight
Out to where the buffalo roam
So I best be on my way
With a cross around my neck of polished chrome
If I live long enough I find a way to believe that it's all true
Making it easy to forgive never thinking about myself in such this way
O, do they provoke me to confusion
So we can leave the past behind
One more fix and soon back to the concurrent
The children gather wood
Therefore my heart rejoiced and my pen was glad.....

For fulcrum our point and support
Never minding the tennis court
I pray for another victory ay my local Giant
To obtain shaving cream and sugar
Tantric comparatively
Our recent class
Our corollary, lo the mind and Jong the train
So much more to find
Never mind the brain
O, Atisma
Today you illuminate the dark
Soon to cease all for Bodhicitta
We find new ways about it
What we don't surrender the world just strips away
Today I am good to myself
For tranquility and money tight....
Tussle
12-28-15
For tussle and scuffle
Another self fulfilled prophesy
Is recalled to a mind that hungers for more
He is at my right hand that I may not be snared
God give purpose to the music I play
And the rhymes I write
Be yourself when everyone else is already taken
Moreover my flesh will rest in hope
Explanation, Jesus is risen and exalted
For tussle vigorous and rough
Jesus is enough....

O, Boxing Day
But not to fight
Go ye now and set things right
At Shiloh where I set my name at the first
My love seat is my escritoire
With its top section for books
In that I love my own mean looks
Nor did his flesh see corruption
Soon he will be here and I pray that he has a good day
Taken by lawless hands
They shall profess and I will show wonders
Into Cyrene
Into Libya
I wonder if she remembers me at all
In the light soon to rise in the east....

Supernumerary
12-28-15
Although this world is full of sweet brandishes
I can see the light in that I have the right
The temple of the Lord, me
These, O hang tight
If ye thoroughly execute judgment
Of our smart-money bets placed by experienced gamblers
The Spirit flows through me today to unriddle the mystery
And to fiddle with our science and history
On our joint-stool in all supernumerary
Of our standard number yet cumbersome
Behold ye doubt these truthful words that always profit
Oppress not the fatherless or the widow and just be you....
Timber Right
12-28-15
Moreover my flesh will rest in hope
Today I am good to myself
And this evening manage and cope
As my heart sleeps timbersome
With our timber right
Life is getting better for those that believe it
For our claim of trees not too proud to be down on our knees
Behold ye trust in lying words that do not profit
I feel like I've been writing for a thousand years
One day in the eyes of God
In the hand I gave your fathers forever....
On Jeremiah 7:17
12-28-15
Longsided and longsome no longer
Quite as lonesome, Hudibrastic
Our mock-heroic verse
In rhymed Iambus pentameter
Suck it up as lights go down
In need of butter for her tail
she gives her life to those that crave it
In the house that is called by thy name today
I am good to myself
O, come and stand before me
O, beseech and implore me
O, kill ye murder and steal
According to the way you might feel
And three more weekends of smooth talking longsided....

12-28-15
On Boxing Day
According to the calendar
A look in your eyes
There's one thing I know
O, come and stand before me
And never mind the noise you heard
We are delivered to serve our neighbor
To burn incense unto yourself
Not the smoothest of ways
Reeling in my Atka mackerel
Break out that tarter sauce to jong, to train
To write a new song but not in vain
Giddyup O, Atisma
You are looking good today.....

12-28-15
They lay hold on bow and spear
Knowing that in heaven there is no fear
Their voice roar like the sea
As we ask for more and just let it be
Anguish needs not take hold of us
With those kisses made free
They ride upon our horses
So that the view they may see
Set in array as men for peace on our behalf
They are all grievous revolters
Rebels walking with slanders of iron and brass
Crude and crass
But it doesn't need to be like this...
Twelve Years Later
12-28-15
Waiting for a brother that I might serve him coffee
I have set thee for a tower
As in compassion there is power
O, daughter of my people
I roll around another hour
The bellows are burned as the music sways
Starting out with the Boss
All is level at the cross
No medium here
It's just me or could it be
O, reprobate silver
And deep roots of another tree
The lead is consumed
The founder doth melt but not in vain
All my illusions slip away
In amending all ways and doings...
Horse-Flesh Driven
12-28-15
And it comes to bait in the first days that we just are
I was feeling sad for those who would stand without the gates pining
As I cause you to dwell in such a place of love, truth and grace
For reprobate silver and apostasy of tarnished gold
I love this time of year the most as does my pastor
Three days countdown to sweet sixteen
O, stand in the gate
And more horse-flesh on our joint-stool
She signed my yearbook
Saying, O stay cool
Yet to unriddle all that there has been said
I am happy to have served thee...

Through Pamphylia and through Cappadocia here we go
And I'm alive feeling alright up at five
Not too late and not too soon
Time to revive under another three quarters full moon
Hear, O earth and behold
The fruit of our thoughts
And a rope with triple knots
To but disentangle to what purpose
Cometh there to me incense from Sheba
Looking for Thomas Brown
Out in the real world
It doesn't need to get me down
Known for the richness of his prose
And Jesus knows
For our umbrage and our terminus
As arms are opened wide....
Animus, No More
12-28-15
Go to the end point of our transportation line
Boundary and border
Located where it starts again where it ends
Ones indistinct indication
Ones hint, I strike the flint
For a spark to light my fire
Our friend will live again for shadow and shade
Yes, the poets have it made
Starting out the day with the Boss
And no more animus
No more inexorable disputations
I serve a neighbor to my coffee
No more enmity for our minutiae
I think I'm going to love it here....
Coterie
12-28-15
Back to my coterie
Taking care of you darling ain't for one of the boys
Come scrofula of the ropes of the neck
Making due with such an imperfection
For all doubtful disputations
I have gained a brother
And serve him coffee
For obstructionist tactics of our habitude
I pray for another successful shopping run this evening
Out for carrots and dip
Go not forth into the field nor walk by the way
We learn the game therefore our hands wax feeble...

Relationship (Career)
12-27-15
O, what is among them
Of the bee that stung them
To teach the pleasure and pain
Behold the fruit of our thoughts
That stem the emotion
Hearken to the sound of the trumpet and saxophone
But they still say I will not hear it
Judas by transgression fell
And my relationship here will be my trade and career
They are full of new wine
But O, be of good cheer
Amazed and perplexed
Of all muscles flexed
No longer as vexed
The revelation concerning him is progressive
North into Pontus on the coast of the black sea we shall go...
This Is The Spirit
12-27-15
I foresaw the Lord always before my face
Where truth is an arrow
And the gate is narrow
No more hate for the sparrow
Explanation: this is the Spirit
For those are not drunk as you suppose
Seeing it is only nine in the morning
West into Asia along the Aegean
South to the island of Crete
We get there something good to eat
Sit at my right hand
And always seek to understand
That we not be shaken....

Wishing Sister a happy thirty-nine
Also I set my watchman and he's doing fine
Therefore hear ye nations
And mind this flask divine
Hear, O earth and behold
Be it hot or cold
To what purpose cometh thence to me
Where it never gets old
O, congregation what is among them to abide in the vine
And bear fruit upon the stem
For our sixth dispensation
Our Pentecost
All with one accord and in one place
So is God's grace
Permission to crank it
Because my neighbor is as well
Come my office in the Greek

why do you stand gazing up into heaven
O, such a gift cometh for free
In a place where our six becomes as seven
For incense from Sheba
Beware of the leaven
Let his dwelling place be desolate
In order to dream you need to be asleep
Old Bob said this
Come the conversion of Saul
Taking part in this ministry and apostleship
By the summary of Christ's two advents
In the office known as overseership
I pray for all upon my heart to intercede....

Love-In
12-27-15
O, laager of wagons
Our love-in for the breath of dragons
Bring them from the fortress where lines are long
Our form of social activism
And no more of such a war
Senseless the more
They have healed also the hurt
From the least unto the greatest
And the seven things that God hatest
Everyone dealth falsely
Matthias chosen to take Judas' place
And many will be saved today
By this love-in and all grace
Waiting for the Spirit
The promise of Christ's return to earth
Literally or not....
Reboot Revisited
12-27-15
Two things uprooted
Your soul is again rebooted
Everyone given over to covet what they only think they want
It is not for you to know the times and seasons
So go and want it for the right reasons
Which you have heard from me
Stay right with it where the road unwinds
I don't even notice that she is gone
Everything in its right place
For rhymes written hours before the dawn
Right down to these dry bones
The order prescribed here
Scripture, our medicine for witnesses on earth
I'm not afraid of confusion
Moment to moment our rebirth
As Peter stood up in the midst...
Febrile
12-27-15
Scripture had to be fulfilled
For another dollar killed Back in coffee heaven
The day after tomorrow
Of chyle emulsified
As a cloak of decency extracted
For another animadvert
To follow ones own ambition
And learn how to live it
Thus saith the Lord
Stand ye in the ways
Being commanded to write these compositions
Of new hope by my faith
Where tomorrow I learn to both manage and cope
Let another take his office
For Spirit sent from heaven
I put my good foot forward febrile...

O, my naked eyes
It will be a good day
Making me free again
Therefore I am full with this mercy and grace
Believing today to be in a better time and place
Learning to listen
Learning to repent
Giving me good reasons
O, Scrutore how have you been
Nero, what could we have done for you
So that you would change your mind
O, Suetomius
Be your own emperor
O, Trajan may it be compassionate
Treatment making us free
You shall not covet your neighbors cooking
For a good laugh may it be...

As my next bible plan
Is to start again in the writings of Apostle Paul
And as well Luke and the book of Acts
Working with the wheels will teach one the facts
Come the waiting church introduction
Christ's forty day ministry
For you and for me
And the commission to evangelize
I praise God for this morning's baptism
John truly baptized with water
But you, my sister are as such
With Spirit not many days from thence
For a city of dreams
Across the valleys and streams
Where time is running backwards
Ring them bells....

Soon time to call up Sister
To be as one to check up on Mister
Step out on a dreary day
If you have problems with someone
Pray for them three times a day
That they will find it too
Come the renouncing of Sinatic laws
A donkey to be mountain with many beautiful flaws
They shall thoroughly glean the remnant
With another prayer for Santa Clause
Sent by Jesus to give and to receive
As long as we see
There is only ours yet to compose my prolegomenon
On the River Arnon I cast in my line...
Puerility
12-27-15
Many yet have a narrow view of the God we thank for it
Like on television
Out of heaven He lets you hear His voice
Remember that we were once in bondage
As well when things are going swell
Soon to update my Dell
For mummery and her wonderful smell
Costumed and masked
It's a good thing you asked
A moment's pleasure never to delay
Today we find new meaning
And much words of peace and love we can say
Come puerility plenty
Take what you need
But remember the giving....
Catching The Dodge (Hallelijiah)
12-27-15
We are to ask for more
On a day that we'll remember
We will be together today
Keeping it short and sweet on Pleasant Valley Street
For Moses and his mediatorship
We take what we want from it
And whatever seems hip
Therefore I am full of fury of this passion
Soon time to walk over and catch the Dodge
I am weary of holding it in
I will pour it out upon all abroad
According to the essence of the Law which is Love....

Puerility
12-27-15
Many yet have a narrow view of the God we thank for it
Like on television
Out of heaven He lets you hear His voice
Remember that we were once in bondage
As well when things are going swell
Soon to update my Dell
For mummery and her wonderful smell
Costumed and masked
It's a good thing you asked
A moment's pleasure never to delay
Today we find new meaning
And much words of peace and love we can say
Come puerility plenty
Take what you need
But remember the giving....
Catching The Dodge (Hallelijiah)
12-27-15
We are to ask for more
On a day that we'll remember
We will be together today
Keeping it short and sweet on Pleasant Valley Street
For Moses and his mediatorship
We take what we want from it
And whatever seems hip
Therefore I am full of fury of this passion
Soon time to walk over and catch the Dodge
I am weary of holding it in
I will pour it out upon all abroad
According to the essence of the Law which is Love....
embouchure
Embouchure
12-27-15
One more quick fix before I get my medicine
All for amativeness of last night's endeavors
To find it for myself
Soon time to face the music of the sun soon to rise
I can almost hear her color for embouchure and mouthpiece
Therefore know this day for those three cities of refuge east of Jordan
In need of a change of doctrine at seven
On the noose I am thankful for future attempts at prose
Out of heaven he lets you hear his voice....
Insouciance (No Longer)
12-27-15
How big is your God
O, how puny is your pride
At your door, second floor, this world war
Tell your friend I'm aware that you care
And more of the same
Our persiflage
Flash of fear fades
Then fortune and fate embraced
And shoemakers are to be yet interlaces
God give purpose to my music today
And no more insouciance
Arise, may we go by day
Keep your eyes on the prize and continue to pray
We have survived another holiday.....
My Sevan
12-27-15
Back to reality
O, define such
For Sevan immaterial
Yet to educe and elicit and continue to solicit
For yesterday and today in the things we do
As a fountain casts out her waters
Soon he will knock at my door
So I can get on with the day
So she casts out all wickedness
O, define such
As with Sister I get back in touch
To wish her a happy birthday
The numbers all work out
For tomorrows grocery endeavor
And love is forever....
Clapboard Revisited
12-27-15
For Garrote
Our iron collar
If you need anything just holler
Another doughface rises back to his feet
To get back in the fight
Waiting is seventy-five percent the battle
For sheep, goats and cattle
Correlative, I am waiting
Are you waiting?
Define such for cupbearers
Covering outer walls of frame structures
I pray for patience thrice
As if striking the rock
For the setting for recounting the law
Driving out from before you those nations
You would rather not hear from....
Second Discourse
12-27-15
New generations so are taught the fundamentals
She knows just what to say
Prepare for the worst
But expect the best
I pray for patience anyway
God knows just where I hope to stand up and sing
She knows just what to say
Correlative and corresponding
I am shown the Way in that you're here
Be thou instructed
Even the land not inhabited
I really don't feel that way
O, Sirion I have so much for you yet to say
Be thou instructed....

quokka
Quokka
12-27-15
Times were tough when love was not enough
In latitude of lacked space
From the attitude of gratitude in God's grace
And freedom from ordinary restraints
As to promise ones spiritual growth
By means of fermentation
O, flee out of the midst
The wave rushes over me
And I stand back up to taste its salinity
Because of our Quokka on Australlian coasts
Prepare ye peace to be with her
Even our wallaby arise and let us go back down there at noon
For the shadows of evening are stretched out still....
Musculature
12-27-15
For my Quomodo
Our cattle catches blackleg
A hand steady on the wheel
Not too proud to beg
Word unto us for the daylight look comes back into view
Like a dramatic transition
The shepherds with their flocks come unto her
They pitch their tents against her round about
And I can almost hear the light in our musculature we flex it
And thick darkness we are cast out
So that we can come on back in
And learn to be thankful for such a shelter
Given as our heritage....
Denouement
12-27-15
Is it the cry of the river
Or the moonlight shining through
Today our love will deliver the me that is in you
For denouement our final resolution this year the same as the last
To just enjoy the coffee
Such a measurable goal for our persiflage
And rather take heed lest you raise your eyes to heaven to see something
But fret not and just hold me close and say you're forever mine
Which the Lord my God has given
Not too far down a road without a name
I, too can play this game....

on the lievre
On The Lievre
12-27-15
On the Livre in north Quebec
We want to return to America
and still play with at least a half deck
I pull the queen of hearts
Just to say what the heck
Dry winds and fresh our helpful hint
To at five at last crash
Up to the top of Pisgah
Driven to worship and drawn away
O, what great nation is there for our sick leave
Getting down on my knees to pray that our love
Will make that other man go away
Of flash and glint and her helpful hint.....
Keep Your Composure
12-27-15
Go ahead and let him try
Why does everything have to be rocket science with you
So says the devil in my left ear
Only take heed to yourself and diligently keep your composure
Through gratitude and compassion for our tanneries and their nations
Shall I not visit for these things as I come and see and conquer
Looking into your ears and listening to your eyes
As to leave behind these fears
And to but relinquish these lies
The prophets prophesy falsely
And priests bear rule by their means....
On Jeremiah 5:27-30
12-27-15
A wonderful and horrible thing can happen when you stand up to sing
Shall I not visit for this offering you bring
They are waxen fair
And today I smell a rat drowned
In tomorrow morning's rain
Remember where you came from
Standing at the altar
Shall not my soul be avenged
To overpass the deeds of the wicked
And judge not the causes for imposture Santa Clauses
They mean well
As a cage is full of birds
As a page is covered by these words
I leave my lights up till the end of January
And continue to celebrate change....
Buss (Casuistry)
12-27-15
As ego is threatened for a moment
Somewhere along the line I slipped off track
For houses full of deceit
Embrace the dark and accept the light
When soon it comes for all casuistry
Intended to rationalize and mislead
And make our Jesus the more bleed
A buss for ones bliss
I get the message she's sending
O ye children of Benjamin
Blow the trumpet in Tekoa
Set up a sign of fire in Bethhaclerem
For another phlebotomy O let it bleed.....

Banditti
12-27-15
O, Gantlope who are you really
What are you to those who don't understand it
O, Banditti I couldn't turn away
Fear ye not me?
Will you not tremble at my presence
For the sound of the sea
By our perpetual decree
That one can pass it
Crossing our gauntlet
Your best steps stolen away from you
And through the waves thereof tossed to and fro
To the point where we don't know
Hear now this by sixth sense and keen intuition
I walk away and shake the dust from off my feet....
Blather
12-27-15
Your iniquities have turned away
The wicked lay wait but are welcome here as well
Playing Tunnel Of Love while it's still dark
I'm back in business
He that gets snared is unfaithful
Thinking not in that He has got our backs
By this people hath a revolting and rebellious heart
Namely me
Yet this is how nature calls
When I need to get it out of me
It lays wait right around the corner
Clockwise to the can
To make sense of when we would blather....

Sora
12-27-15
O, Sora, my rail
With short, stout bill
Que hora will not fail
when it comes to my coping skill
O, Ortolan my time to go hunting and fishing
O, bobolink, so what do you think
It is a mighty nation for mud poured down my filthy sink
Eaten as a delicacy
To be one worse than pink
Our salvo and our discharge
Our release and our rack
And our plan of attack
In freshwater bogs
And sudden outburst
Of praise and cheers....
Booth Reserved (Good Deal)
12-27-15
It is an ancient nation to return to
After my short and sweet Christmas vacation
Another written assault, ones salvo
Where we just add salt
Sooth, true and real
Booth table and a good deal
Their quiver is an open sepulcher
They eat up thine harvest and herds
And I want these pages to be more than just words
Nevertheless in these days I will not make a full end of you
Another inner altercation
Yet to eat up fig trees and vines for love on the tide
And mighty signs and impoverished fenced cities
O, trust not in dust....
Hart On Drums
12-27-15
Fate is never clear
Hate is due to fear
At five on the dot
I start my coffee with my feline friend near and dear
Another Punchinello makes his face
And I am glad I called her Grace
For laranyx and its glotting
As our pullet gives us breakfast
Ones glout is as cold as his doubt
In happy days and loving nights
No sense in worrying about tomorrow
As we extenuate all anticipation
When we stay in the moment
And take it as it comes
With Mickey Hart on drums...

T.L.C.
T.L.C. Revisited
12-26-15
Due to my obsession
I must take special care of this book
Due to perforated fringes
Hoping to keep it all together
Even in inclement weather
You have begun to show Your servants Your greatness
How shall You pardon me for this
I am a worm and no man
Making haste to turn these pages
So they stay intact
Because our transgressions are many
And our backslidings are increased
May the pages be turned with tender loving care...
Bumtrap
12-26-15
All for Thespis and the rest of it for Horace
They were as for horses
Beings of light with very good forces
If it pleases me I put one on your plate
O, it's up to me
Go ye up upon her walls
She will guide you into this Presence
To be practiced moment by moment
Everyone neighs after his neighbor's wife
As well for Alcibiades
Another bumtrap is set so we won't forget
People, what have you done in misrepresentation
Of this resurrection
Yet to belie and contradict no longer....
A '356'
12-26-15
Needing to trust God
That these pages will stay intact
For valley and ravine
For Sally and Coleen
Names mentioned
Of those I have not yet met up with
Wherefore because you speak this word
Behold I make words in your mouth as fire
And such a people mahogany wood
O, make your carved image
Now I can understand
Why you didn't want to see it this way
O my brother for Baal Peor
The lord of the opening
Tomorrow is going to be another awesome one
By the lush separation and the providence of spiritual wealth
We press on God's waiter...

This first book is four pages sort
Due to technical difficulties
Seen as the opportunity for change of pages
Three hundred fifty-six
I pray ye let us pass over to see the good land
Smearing shabby coats
Another trollop pays a visit to a mind aroused
Very soon sun streaking cold
Surely these are poor but rich
Surely soon the same old drug deals that make me smile
Four pages short
In Bath southeast of Bristol
Sweet deal
Surely we are wise and foolish
For we know the ordinance
I pray that the rest of the book will hold together
Let's see how it goes
Just believe...
Take Heed
12-26-15
To extinguish and to douse
Let the poor men get along
They are rich in Spirit
How will You pardon me for this one hour till sundown
Now after the solstice
The days get long again
Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall befriend us
If we think right we will feel alight
To get me unto the great men unpleasant god form
As we sadly wonder
For they as well have known the Way
Tomorrow is going to be another awesome sermon
I can almost taste it...

distracted
Distracted
5-23-01
Distracted by veggies and dip
And indoor picnic foods
Obsessive tastes pulling me away from the page
In all sorts of varieties of moods
As I believe that irrelevant is my age
Worn out and jaded
Dark corner of shadow shaded
Staying in the cooler air
And to try something new I take a dare
Time to put it all aside Forget about my selfish pride
God fought on the side of Joshua in the wilderness
I read about such a wonder today
Gives me another reason to rejoice and pray
Happy to be alive in the month of May
Running out of things to write and say
But I feel it's time I search the deep down and hidden mines
As I come off appealing those parking fines
No, I will not be towed
And I need not solve a puzzle or crack a code
By the grace of God I'm still in the writing mode....
Hot Pot On
5-23-01
Made it to the zone of the ice cream cone
It's a treat I haven't tasted in years
I'm by myself but not alone
I am blessed with laughter and tears
Getting the milk and meat to build the bone
Wisdom comes along with doubts and fears
Time to rebuke such a thing
If indeed it is not from the Lord
The dog will bite and the bee will sting
And I intend to carry a shield and sword
Not a man of honor or valor
Not a man of physical strength or might
No longer in shape or athletic
I'm just a man of staying up all night
I want it to be all worth it this time around
I'll open up a window to let in the cold if I have to
Rebuke drowsiness with my hot pot on
I want to take my wisdom and foolishness with me into the dawn
I would regret throwing in the towel
When the only time that matters is now
Want to be content like a grazing cow
Spool all wound up on the Word
Cheerful like a singing bird...

the more you walk
The More You Walk
1-14-01
The more you walk with Him
The more you will want to
So step out with the King
And get to know this new thing
He said it was nothing new
He said it has always been this way
And it always will
So step on out
There's no time like today
I want to give my brother a call
Tell him what I found
Anyone can be chosen
And by rope we won't be bound
For the Spirit will set us free
Here and now, no better place for us to be
The more you walk with him
The more you will want to
So take the new trip
And make it your habit
Make it your way
There is no better time than today
For this I will continually pray....
Get Out There
1-14-01
Get out while there is gold in the air
And let the golden air rush to your brain
Get the good blood circulating
Let it rush and surge all through you
And love is brought to the world only through you
Open up your eyes and let this message get to you
Get out while there's still time
And look forward to your next trip
You have made it to a land where it all comes free
You have to be the one to decide
Only you can draw the line
Get out while there is light
For in darkness you can't see where you go
Put to use the oil in your lamplight
Put to use all that you know
For it is enough and it is qualified
Let that light shine to all around
Seems this time around
I've found that it's not going to be easy
I'll have to find it the new way
And the new way is to walk with God....

So take the new trip
And make it your habit
Make it your way
There is no better time than today
For this I will continually pray....
Get Out There
1-14-01
Get out while there is gold in the air
And let the golden air rush to your brain
Get the good blood circulating
Let it rush and surge all through you
And love is brought to the world only through you
Open up your eyes and let this message get to you
Get out while there's still time
And look forward to your next trip
You have made it to a land where it all comes free
You have to be the one to decide
Only you can draw the line
Get out while there is light
For in darkness you can't see where you go
Put to use the oil in your lamplight
Put to use all that you know
For it is enough and it is qualified
Let that light shine to all around
Seems this time around
I've found that it's not going to be easy
I'll have to find it the new way
And the new way is to walk with God....
new page
The New Page
1-14-01
Made it to the new page
In a new and better age
And hidden in the paper is a key
To unlock potential
And perfect the passing of the day
Passing on through
In hopes to reach you and you
We are put on this earth
To bring into it a little heaven
One betrayed him
And then remained the eleven
And our light is meant to shine
There is nothing of yours that is not mine
Accept the gift
Take in life and read the word
A seed is carried by a faithful bird
He takes his day out on the town
To convince the lost that they have a friend
We will all know Him in the end
Unless you turn it up and pass
And for this reason I step out onto the grass
I go soul fishing for quality in the can
Give me something to do and I'll do all I can....
Take God By The Hand
1-14-01
Take God by the hand and he won't let you fall
She whispers these words to me
In hopes that I can be free
Free to roam to put into practice
The good words of the tome
And to tell someone that Jesus loves them
This was only a practice run
For I feel I will be there
These things will be done
Find my footing on the first step and stair
Climb the ladder of the heaven that is in me
It is in you as well
Time to return to the tolling of the bell
Lord, help me to do what I can
Lord, let me take you by the hand
Take my lamplight out and about
Lord, let me be your scout
And set up camp wherever I may roam
Put to use the good words of your tome
Lord, I will be there for you
I know you are there for me
The lesson that I learn is true
It is something new to see....

digging
Digging
11-28-05
And I have only but scratched the surface
In my penetration of the earth's crust
As there are yet deeper holes to dig into the mantle
Where base metals heap corrosion and rust
And if I ever had a vision to reach the core
I would have to strive to be chaste and pure
Yet such a thing is impossible with the nature of the flesh
So I hope to be led of the Spirit
In fruit that is still fresh
And I am yet to glean of the grapes of the vine
In attempts to digest the doctrine
And partake of the wine...
Staying Warm While Hunting
11-28-05
And we ought to make peace with our failures
In knowing that they are guaranteed
And we need to learn our lesson in giving
To prove that our hearts are not governed by greed
And I am yet to share my wealth
So that my heart will not grow cold
As I honor the Lord with all substance and wealth
And return to the way of love
So that I won't get old
And like sugar I am yet to stir up my gift in my flask
As so I'll pull the trigger
As the hunting of the gazelle becomes an easier task
And the game includes more than just the meat
As so the comfort consists of more than just the warmth and body heat....

God bless America
God Bless America Is Hard To Say
6-25-04
And so we wake to a new day
To put on our armor
So we can stand against evil forces
And we put our trust today in His love
For it is in vain to trust in chariots and horses
And we ride into the eastern horizon
Brother, where the sun soon will shine
And I'm glad to be one to say
That all belongs to God as what's His is mine
And it is said that a car in the middle of the road won't get very far
As there are times when I count it a blessing
To be one not to own a car
As all of these people on the left and right ever seem to do is to fight
And the election date is drawing near
And the decision needed to be made is close in sight
And to be honest I don't know just who I'm voting for
As I am caught between both angles
As well as both views
People carry of precious peace
And senseless war....
Still Have Much To Learn
6-26-04
And what is wrong today looks appealing
As the matador so will wave that cape and cloth
And from fiery darts we'll need our healing
As to the electric light outside the cabin at camp
So is attached the lunar moth
And the moon shines bright
As pleasant and cool is the summer night
But still we must step into the arena and stick it out
As we endure our bull fight
And so the champion matador will wave his red flag
And a curious spectator in the audience
Brings out his polaroid camera from his bag
But these days they won't permit us to take our bag past the front gate
As those that claim to be in order take precautions today
In this world of hate
And I am glad to be a part of this no longer
And I have a new way to be
With a new angle to see
As I'm one day older, wiser and stronger...

great gain
Great Gain
6-25-04
And Jesus had to go away
So that the Holy Spirit could come
And I have an earnest desire to be set on fire
And transcend all that is lukewarm, indifferent and numb
And it gets much better when this Spirit makes me want to shout
And indeed you will when this grace is made known
And when you understand at last what it's all about
And such an understanding passing as gold and silver
So is esteemed as great gain
As such wisdom to be found
There is inexhaustible like the blood drawn from Immanuel's vein
And when you are honest and sincere
It's not counted as robbery to quote these living verses
That still freely flow
Just as its not counted as plagerism to write a rhyme such as this
One to describe this blessedness and dignity in what today we can know....
The Message Repeated
6-25-04
And there will always be something to learn and to do
Even when not at work or in school
And tonight I observe a feast
And celebrate with pens black and blue
And consider the lost sheep that were found
And the prodigal son and the golden rule
As so I already blew my paycheck
And I squandered all monetary wealth
But I am content with a roof over my head
And all that I have including the blessings of security and health
And for reasons yet unknown
Such a passage three times was repeated
As by habit and according to custom
The coffee cup was reheated
As there is more to the taste
That what meets the roof of ones mouth
As there is one more blessing yet to be counted
To be included amongst sacred relics
To hang upon my wall south
And through my window that faces east
There will come soon the morning light
To serve as a joyous morning feast....

extra inning
Extra Inning
4-15-05
And I find myself yet lacking and in need
When the coffee grows lukewarm in my cup
As all one needs to do to succeed
Is to simply walk out their front door and show up
And it is better to go to the house of mourning
Then to the house of the feast
As so better is the sight of the eyes
Than the wandering of desire
To see the star in the east
As so the wise men will bring all they have to give
As by what you receive so is a living
As giving will serve as a way to live
And so the end of these things is much better than its beginning
As for our ticket we get our money's worth
While in the game will be an extra inning.....
Quoting Solomon Again
4-15-05
And so it seems better to hear the rebuke of the wise
Than to listen to the songs of fools
As so we are taught to steer clear of the lies
And for our benefit so are written the rules
And it is good to listen to even what we want to hear
As so folly comes with ignorance
For it is better to fear
But I must say I will never be one to talk
And never will be the one to judge
For in my class of home economics
I scribble in yellow chalk a secret recipe
Of that sinful white chocolate fudge
And it is always good to learn something new
While in the by and by
I write my songs in ink of black and blue....
Onerous Weight
4-15-05
And as evening light fades and the sun goes down
It matters no longer that the day is dreary
And I still press on in the seeking of my crown
And its obstinence persists even if I might be down and out and weary
And so you increase and accumulate
So your life will become an onerous weight
And you wake late in the afternoon
With dust on your conscience
As you see that your burden is great
And you see the need to clean up
But you don't know just where to begin
And of your morning coffee you pour yourself another cup
And when you're up against bondage and flesh
Without the Spirit indwelling you'll never win
And so as night fades
And the sun is soon to rise
You give thanks for what you have seen
As still you persist in seeking this prize....
To Land In The Cypress
4-15-05
And as I meander at the bookstore
I stare into space and gaze in contentment towards the east wall
And I cast all cares on the Creator
And I lean upon his grace
And give thanks in knowing that I'm better off here
Then across the street at the shopping mall
And while cross pollinating
We are as working bees
As so we hover with content
Over the needles of coniferous trees
And in the here and now
We will find pleasant places to rest
As we will be ordained to fester in the forests of the Midwest
And soon I lay down to sleep
And for all I say my prayers
And proceed into the world of dream
As I forget about my cares....

salute
Salute
7-6-13
Saluting all Earthlings and Martians
I am as a king that rules brutally exiled by the Spartans
In another dream of going there again with good intentions
That seem to get me nowhere
By the futility of useless inventions
To coin a phrase and to live out my dog days
And to apply my knowledge to life
In finding new ways thwarted by cul de sacs of hesitation
By our delays
Saluting all whom dwell here
Knowing that love will cast out all fear....
Flagellate
7-6-13
Of such flagellation and chastening
The consequence is beautiful and quite mesmerizing
Where we would be as bastards without such
In that we take for granted such a sense of touch
Leaning upon the pillar and rock of another crutch
Of another Radiohead all day diurnal vigil of sorts
Where the bible scholar still admonishes and exhorts....
Coinage
7-6-13
Of shillings and pence
We regard the wealth of past and present tense
Happy with one's lot and therefore more than wealthy
Sick yet healthy
Ungainly yet stealthy
Of drachmas and mites
We as people have human rights
With privelages of well being
That comes with this word of truth
Having somewhat yet to say of lines of age
By the beauty in ones youth....
On Luke 7:38
7-6-13
Standing at his feet behind him weeping
Watching and praying
I declare I am not sleeping
Where the tears have their way to yet heal these infirmities of our lament
Wherein we repent and to the harvest yet sent
To justify the money that has been spent
On that which is not our bread
Where I wonder
O, am I dead
Standing at his feet behind him weeping....

mastadon smile
Mastodon Smile
7-6-13
I smile regardless of a fate worse than death
In that today I owe my God my every breath
I smile just the same in the face of fear
To be a blessing to my mastodon and megathere
He is far away yet quite close
He is my muse today
Illuminated even while morose
With knobkerries we are yet to be smitten
Where my elder cat thinks she is a kitten
I smile in spite of the trial
Where today my pen goes the extra mile....
Box
7-6-13
I bring my alabaster box of ointment
Seeing that nothing ever goes to waste
By such an appointment performing a good work
On he whom leaves his legacy to those in need
Where this particular national anthem sounds like beautiful noise
By which the poet sows another seed
For all equilibrium and poise
Bringing my alabaster box
So that wrought can be another good work
By a lamb sly as such a fox....

chronic
Chronic
7-6-13
A chronic by nature
I am what I am
In the love of God that will not fail
In that I have high hopes
That there is someone out there who will love me
For who I am in spite of all eccentricities and flaws
Wherein love doth hold up all other higher laws
Starting another Radiohead session beside a feline companion
That hath not need of her claws
A chronic by nature
A vegetable and a mineral
A casualty and a combatant
A victim yet a victor
I am somebody in Christ....
On Luke 7:35
7-6-13
Wisdom is justified of all her children
Whom piped to those who have not danced and mourned
To them whom have not wept
Yes, this is wisdom
Of such a number that needs not be ominous
To the believer whom takes up the weapon
Of a love that casts out all fear
where wisdom is justified of all her children
To conclude that the new beginning is night and near....
Lope
7-6-13
There is blessed assurance of a newfangled hope
Where promontory riders yet ride and lope
On another Sabbath broken by the pen
Yet reinforced by that which is where and when
Where I return to my altar
Where smoke rises once again
Giving God thanks even while in the lion's den
Where salvation can be even the companion of Zen
There is blessed assurance even in places of famine desolate and dry
There is hope that once again I might break down and cry....

Ode For Athena
Ode For Athena
7-6-13
I build my Parthenon upon my Acropolis
To pay reverence for the mistress of my dreams
At the street corner of my Metropolis
Paying due reverence just because
It is in my eye to incline an ear
Wielding a love that doth cast out all fear....
Hispid
7-6-13
Yet hispid and bristly
Are the limbs that caress our atmosphere
Hazy and misty to prove the illustration
Of these elements of the curse
That serves as the blessing in disguise
In that I disregard all due suspicion
Where love will see me through
In that I am an heir according to position
Yet hispid and bristly so will be my agenda
For another prolific Sabbath of sorts..
Java
7-6-13
Everything is in its right place on the Java Sea
Needing not be stranded on the Isle of Belitung
Making the best of being short of breath
By way of another iron lung
Right next to my feline companion
That serves as the theme of all songs boldly sung
Where everything is in its right place
Where I remember what it is to know God's grace.....

Underlip
7-5-13
By way of my underlip and jaw
I enjoy my rutabagas and turnips raw
Being unique in such a habit such as this
satisfied and content with my state of mild bliss
Seeking not deeper ecstasy of the Being I once known
Happy with my peace of mind
Where nothing needs be carved in stone
By my way of such underlip and jaw
Wielding as a weapon this love that is the higher law....
Found
7-5-13
That which was lost has once again been found
In my lucid dreams of the flooding of my Plymouth Sound
Where I wade in joy like I was once again a boy
In that my Mahogany oar serves as my new toy
When upon my raw fish
Yes, I prefer my soy
Knowing not the dream as such takes place
Given all evidence and manifestation
Today of God's good grace....
Prod
7-5-13
Anticipating yet to come my sweeter years
Moving on along with my shepherds and muleteers
Making my request of my God being one of acceptance
To the scourging rod
Clad in my luck of the Irish green shirt
In that I play with fire and not get hurt
Anticipating the best yet to come....
Hunt
7-6-13
On the hunt for mastodons and megatheres
Leaning on the rock of such a love that casts out all fears
In search for more than ivory by which miners shed their tears
Digging deep in search for more and more
Yet to be as purified as we are yet pure
On another prolific Sabbath
With memories of carousing by the shore....
7-5-13
By way of my underlip and jaw
I enjoy my rutabagas and turnips raw
Being unique in such a habit such as this
satisfied and content with my state of mild bliss
Seeking not deeper ecstasy of the Being I once known
Happy with my peace of mind
Where nothing needs be carved in stone
By my way of such underlip and jaw
Wielding as a weapon this love that is the higher law....
Found
7-5-13
That which was lost has once again been found
In my lucid dreams of the flooding of my Plymouth Sound
Where I wade in joy like I was once again a boy
In that my Mahogany oar serves as my new toy
When upon my raw fish
Yes, I prefer my soy
Knowing not the dream as such takes place
Given all evidence and manifestation
Today of God's good grace....
Prod
7-5-13
Anticipating yet to come my sweeter years
Moving on along with my shepherds and muleteers
Making my request of my God being one of acceptance
To the scourging rod
Clad in my luck of the Irish green shirt
In that I play with fire and not get hurt
Anticipating the best yet to come....
Hunt
7-6-13
On the hunt for mastodons and megatheres
Leaning on the rock of such a love that casts out all fears
In search for more than ivory by which miners shed their tears
Digging deep in search for more and more
Yet to be as purified as we are yet pure
On another prolific Sabbath
With memories of carousing by the shore....
prune
Prune
7-4-13
Six hours remain
Having only fiber to surge through another vein
Call me the Sun, the brother of Rain
Six hours yet apply wherein I am already high
Hoping for the old style obsolete and desuetude
In that I give God thanks for all of my food
Nursing on prunes for glyphs and for runes
And memories of pony dung and sand dunes
Six hours to go wherein I hope that I will know
In that I don't need to go
When I am already there...
Regard
7-5-13
Regarding the annunciation and ascension
Being one to witness to them in after school detention
Spreading the word like the seed of the flower blowing in the wind
Praying O, forgive me Lord for I have sinned
And Jesus loves me no matter what I say or even do
In that I give rest to my other pen of blue
Where I find the real me in all that is in you....
Ostentatious
7-5-13
Yet to display my august and inspiring awe
Following such a love that serves as the higher law
Making requests known in that it does no harm to ask
While in ones bag of tricks and ruses
There is always one more mask
Keeping my words few
To see that they only complicate the task
Satisfied and content with the bliss in which I bask...

more of me
More Of Me
10-7-10
Looking ugly in my looking glass
For in myself as I am I find it appealing
To see the acceptance of what God made me
Is quite true to myself in its healing
Going through my metamorphosis from season to season
I grew out a full beard with no shame
And when it comes to spelling
I can be proud of my five letter name
The same number as the name Jesus
Somehow I hold these glories
So that I might step out to tell all of my stories
Reward just for being who I am....
Everything Done For God Will Last
10-7-10
Yet to discover newfound hues of vermillion and carnelian
To learn how to mix the paints for our further work
Everything done for God will last
When we take the best parts with us of our past
We are not required to forget
So we keep it is our mind
Even the things we might regret
These things made me who I am today
As today I live on nothing but coffee and cold water
Knowing I took my vitamin when I woke up
I wake up too late
But at least I am awake and alive
On another beautiful day....

aventurine
Aventurine
10-7-10
Yet to be mining for aventurine, feldspar and hematite
To consider as well the simplicity of coral black and quarts white
I'd like to be my own poetic archeologist
To yet mine the motherlode from deep inside my soul
As I will learn much from what in this takes its toll
Heating up another fresh pot of decaf
You ask just what is the point
And I regard the storm as balm yet to anoint
And now that I bear less weight
Yeah, my shoulder is back in joint....
Too Many Choices
10-7-10
On a sunny afternoon musically free
And in bondage with these many choices of selections I am yet to hear
I have enough to keep me going for weeks
Praying that my manhood will return to my loins
Seems an immoral petition and request
But it is part of me
It is what makes me who I am
Yet in the meantime come Saturday
We go to the festival to eat to our heart's content
To see O, how much more there is to life
Of rations to tear into of which we have not a need of a knife....
I Salute My Neighbors
10-7-10
My cat uses my poet's list as a pillow
She looks content and that makes me happy
So I pass a beautiful afternoon in testimony and prophesy
Not thinking of the future
But making mention of things I have to contribute
I took a walk to pass some students getting back from high school
They chose to catch some rays first before doing their homework
Quite wise for sunlight is medicinal to stimulate the mind
As I see I have so much out there yet to find...

irresonsible
Irresponsible
10-7-10
Feeling somewhat irresponsible with this gospel
I copy it verse by verse into my notebooks
So it will sink in
Yet the memory of it soon disappears
So I humble myself in saying I'm not worthy to be a Saint
And I look into the firmament to admire God's brush and paint
And today the azure will shine from an expanse
That make my spirits dance while I stand still
Taking my seat upon my hill
Yet to ponder over God's will
Call me a fanatic for I am glad to be....
Shackled To Be Free
10-7-10
Jerusalem which is above is free
Which is the mother of us all
As we know a just root to grow a good tree
And such a cedar as we know it grows tall
And it is written, rejoice, thou barren that bear not
To give a little bit and get back a lot
Hoping that such quotations won't be in vain
Praying, God bless these trees in the upcoming falling of rain
And in order to be free like such you'll be in need of a shackle
As you embark on your fishing trip
With the burden of your bait and tackle
To see that it is all worthwhile...

allegory
Allegory
10-6-10
Believers take such a passage to be a true story
Where it is written that such is the definition of the allegory
A paradox of what it might mean in the English language
As we suppose that life on earth is much like purgatory
A philosophy I have obtained of my crestfallen days
Hoping to change my way of thinking and find new ways
This will be an opportunity for change
And it might provide me with new things to think about
As I am put through a sieve to come out more refined....
Of When It Subsides
10-6-10
Praying without ceasing
For God to rebuke this common cold
Rejoicing evermore
No matter how bad it might feel
It's not so common anymore
Until my coughing spell subsides
And then it is easy to say my hallelijiahs
A word that for so long I haven't known how to spell
Where Jesus will fight against the gates of hell
Giving myself one more sweet hour before I retire
As it is said that one can amend from the life of being a liar
But he won't be able to be cured of his alcohol
I ought to take it one day at a time....
Ode Of When I Was In The Game
10-6-10
I'll make my mistakes so that later I might get busy in revisions
Where inevitable are offences, strife and divisions
So I think about balloons to remind me of a passed on brother and his son
I never utter imprecations about such imperfections
They used to take me to McDonalds so that I would be late for church
It was a whole lot of laughter restrained and bottled up
For my sense of humor was wet like wood unfit to burn in the fire
So I have forgiven all of such shenanagins
Easy to say this when in my own personal space....
In Sobriety And Celibacy
10-6-10
Seems like the song, "Shock The Monkey"
Is an invitation to play around
God forbid if it should become a command
We don't want all of this going on in our heads
If we plan to go back to the work world
As that which I should will turn out to be our omission
As I must exclaim that there needs to be a better mission
I haven't gone there for weeks
But I still seem to be doing pretty good...

crashing the party
Crashing The Party
7-4-13
Self pity parties are crashed
By the attitude of gratitude
Overturning all tablesof wine and cake
Of such introspection that I would rather renounce and forsake
Where High And Dry was his favorite tune
Where the days get shorter
As waning is our summer moon
Where it is never too late nor too soon...
Wild Berry
7-4-13
I broke my fast on generic pop tarts
Knowing that such an undertaking is not official
Until nine tonight
Taking my sustenance while I can by day
In its partly cloudy available light
Soon to expect the unexpected
In my fight or flight with a pen of a ready poet
Whom just wants to smoke and write
Breaking my fast on generic pop tarts
To the background noise of Radiohead's electronic farts
In that I haven't used such a word in years...
Gelateria
7-4-13
Our farewell to our Pope
Was like a Woodstock of sorts
Of gelateria in every alcove
Like the altar standing fast upon every high place and grove
Where there is much for the offering
Over which no man has strove
In that our farewell to our Pope
Is as a Woodstock of sorts.....
Title
7-4-13
Call me a Dan
For soup from a can
Give me a title of honor
Not for myself but for he whom sends me
To a place I can go without leaving my front door
Call me a Dan and a man with a plan
As a title of poetic regard
Call me an ace
Call me a wild card
Call me a poet laureate
And I will accept the compliment graciously
As God wants me to...

firework
Firework
7-4-13
It's a lousy July the fourth
But I can call it wonderful
In that I choose to smile
Even if I might not feel this way
Knowing not if this pen is working like it should
When there is no absolute truth as far as the ink goes on and on
Refusing to stand up to salute a flag of futility
It's a lousy July the fourth
Where my cigarettes serve as my only fireworks of futility
And famine by my fast
Where I am alone
O, yeah at last...
Tug
7-4-13
The love of God here and now
Tugs at the strings of my heart
And I can feel it in the recollections
Of last night's dreams
Of reporting to my classes of mathematics and art
Where I wake to coffee and smoke
And get a fresh new start
In that the love of God makes her way into my aorta of sorts
Yet to declare that Pall Malls are even better than Newports
Acknowledging the similarities at my right hand
That holds the pen of a ready writer....
Top
7-4-13
Love will be our heavenly sacrifice
In remembrance in how once and for all
Jesus has paid the price
By the playing again of Radiohead's The Bends
To know the love of God that such a sound in new ways defends
Of such love letters to wee lasses
This Jesus freak yet sends
Where high and dry are the strings of my heart
Doing good to do without in declaring thou art
Where love is my heavenly sacrifice
Being the top of the whole law
Where compassion doth yet suffice....

Clad
7-4-13
Clad in my luck of the Irish Guinness t-shirt
Yet to apply feminine deodorant
As long as no one else gets hurt
Where no one is on my case but just me
In that I do it to myself
Requiring not a sign
I can hear, taste, touch or see
In all hedonic principles
Of values futile and vain
Clad in my green shirt
Staying home to watch the rain...
My Hedonism
7-4-13
Pristine porcine pleasure prevails
In times of such idleness and leisure
On another Sabbath broken by the pen
Where I am told to fast for a glucose blood test
Taken tomorrow morning of tales to tell of tribulations
To take of pristine porcine pleasures of palatable plunder
Sticking to the guns of my milestone
That I never got over
Of which I still savor like so....
Union
7-4-13
Prelates and dignitaries visit mosques
Galleries and libraries
Yet to frequent places deep within
Where we ought to stand up for love
In that we boldly sin
Along with turnkeys and jailors
That assume the mouth with filth and drunkenness
Of fishers and sailors where carpenters and masons join up
With painters and tailors of prelates and dignitaries
All on the same page
All of one mind and in agreement
In that we all read the same book...

Signal
7-4-13
At the chime and signal of eleven
I conjure up high hopes for a better life with my God in heaven
Reminding myself that this what I see here and now is not forever
But on the other hand the present tense is all we've got
Where we ought to be ourselves and not something that we're not
Plainly stated in such a shallow statement
By way of a pen tainted
With such July humidity and condensation...

Riff
7-4-13
No matter what happens
Today Jesus is my savior
To which a constantly pray
In that there is a new way to joy
When such love is the truth, the life and the Way
By my focused thought
Upon Radiohead riffs of ruses by the rues and regrets
Living only for my coffee and my cigarettes
No matter what
O, Jesus is in control....
Session
7-4-13
By another Radiohead all day prolific poetic session
So is my testimony that comes along with the absolution of this honest confession
Hoping to be cleansed and purged of all that went wrong
In the stone age of my bittersweet memory of you in another Radiohead sitting
Where I prophesy by way of pen of blue...
Obliged
7-4-13
Yet to be much obliged and obligated
Rejoicing in that by the world I might be hated
For they hated Jesus first
For which I now pine and thirst
Hearing God's voice somewhere
In the hearing of Pablo Honey
With my attitude of gratitude
Of what we all take for granted
In skies of patchy blue partly sunny
Much obliged and obligated
In that for God all things
Yes, everything is created....

Petition
7-4-13
Making supplication for the following twenty compositions
O, Lord willing and Thy will be done
In my upcoming endeavors and missions
Assuming in high places
Newfangled precarious positions
Where the sun through my window grows dim
Before I can see such bright
Where all that I learn in the darkness
I will speak in the light...
Fourth
7-4-13
By my unrestrained pursuit of my desires
Flings are observed with meat to be smoked
Upon revival fires where we gather
With flagons of wine
To bring tithes of our hires
Still in search for yet more and more
Supporting our soldiers
Yet not to condone the war
On this Fourth of July
Where I would rather be ignorant
In that on nothing at all
I get high...
Rack
7-4-13
Constantly in prayer
Seemingly striving against the wind
Like racking up points in a childhood game of chance
With my conscience telling me that indeed I have sinned
Dwelling in my Guiness shirt
Hoping to one day have one with Jesus in the clouds
Being almost three years clean and sober yet filthy and dry drunk
Been there and done that
Constantly in prayer
To yet obtain the land and her fat...

Saying my prayers for all savants and exegetes
Saying a blessing on the rain that falls upon those filthy city streets
Giving God thanks for my island and clean sheets

Discerning new hues upon old tennis courts
Saying my prayers...

Today I might write where I walk by faith and not by sight
In a stage of metamorphosis and regeneration
Being made again whole
Being born again and saved by the change
That thrives in my mortal frame
Given my housefly companion
Of such a mundane effluvia
Yet to put on another record
That comes in its digital form free of charge
Where the place I stand is large...

Is the honey sweetness of my decadent bowl of oats
Regarding the last plagues accompanied by silent notes
Introduced to a strange flavor by the palate of deep sea fishing boats
Briny and dark
Where I decline from the proposition
To go to the park....
7-3-13
Saying my prayers for all savants and exegetes
Saying a blessing on the rain that falls upon those filthy city streets
Giving God thanks for my island and clean sheets
Chain smoking Pall Mall shorts for the cause of calming that such exhorts
Discerning new hues upon old tennis courts
Saying my prayers...
Effluvia
7-3-13
Of my mundane effluvia
Today I might write where I walk by faith and not by sight
In a stage of metamorphosis and regeneration
Being made again whole
Being born again and saved by the change
That thrives in my mortal frame
Given my housefly companion
Of such a mundane effluvia
Yet to put on another record
That comes in its digital form free of charge
Where the place I stand is large...

grouse
Grouse
7-3-13
Of gallinaceous pheasants and grouses
Are my fantasies of such imaginary spouses
Met in the lucid dreams
Where I learn how to become aware
That what I see before me
Is what I can choose to behold
To incline an ear
Where by hearing comes my faith
And by seeing such believing....
Privilege
7-3-13
Seminarians and librarians will yet prosper
In the benedictions that come by way of our freedom
And privilege to read all about it
Yet choosing today to stay home and watch the rain
To play Radiohead archives to inspire new material
For another session of subtility
For seminarians and librarians
I ask a blessing upon...
Brae
7-3-13
Upon my braes and hillsides
Yet to congregate are all of such herds, flocks and prides
saying my blessings upon all that traverse to and fro
Out front upon my braes and high places
For the jumpers pulling off a new stunt
Bearing the weight and burden of these sad songs
That treat my ear to rich chocolate
In the form of sound in its decadence...
Moil
7-3-13
Yet to drudge, to whirl and moil
Making the best of moist and fertile soil
On the banks of rivers
Where there is much trade
Of brass, wheat and choice oil
Wondering where I got such words of wisdom
Defined as the knowledge applied to life
This will be my only agenda today
Apart from just making my way through....

raisinettes
Raisinettes
8-25-12
Raisinettes for breakfast doth suffice
In its contents of calcium in small quantities
Sufficient to step out of my hot bath
And get back to my poetic basics productive and efficient
Where the breakfast of champions in me is my smoke and coffee
Wherein I can know of my own heaven
Yet reminded to beware of such leaven
As the sun peaks out of a cloud that passes overhead...
Passed The Test
8-25-12
Putting a difference between knowledge and wisdom
In that such is my request today
All day in rhyme and verse
To be as a blessing in the disguise of such a curse
Knowing the contrast between seeing the facts
And this sagacity gained through hands on experience
With these situations serving as simulations and tests
To pass with flying colors
Looking back on how I looked forward
To those nights of excess
Renounced to cross the bridges
Into all that is Now....
My Dime
8-25-12
My hairbands were a dime a dozen
Yet such is the face value of the price of a bowl of Raman noodles
Sufficient for the purpose in starch and protein
With my saline and briny dosage of substance I intend to honor
My one Lord with today
When the hour of one rolls around again
All day with nothing in my hand save this pen
Observing riffs of a dime a dozen
Clichés condoned in that even these are real in that they are....
O, Is It?
8-25-12
O, is there really a joy
When one is converted
Turning from his ways of the brow of brass perverted
Or should he remain as he is and be filthy still
So that he might be washed clean once again
In this poet's devotion today in my tablet and pen
O, is it really a miracle when one makes a change
Or should he remain unjust still
And simply be just who he is in his own sight
O, is such a thing right in his own sight...

predecessor
Predecessor
8-25-12
Serving today as my own predecessor
As a herald to a man I used to be
Yet still am a way on my second cup of coffee
Praying that today will be prolific and marvelous
As a perfect day to be by myself but not alone
Serving as my own forerunner
To run the race with poetic confidence
Listening to my music that is mindless
And upon a middle ground that I can indeed fathom, grasp and bear...
Prodigy
8-25-12
She said I was a prodigy
And I saw a need to accept this as a compliment
With good grace
Giving myself a pat on the back
For being what I am
Unaware of my own visage
Being away from the bathroom mirror
Where I play it safe while getting a clean shave
Which is where I always come up with something new
She said I was a prodigy
As such esteem today will serve as my sky of blue...
Plow
8-25-12
Yeah, I will plow my way through today
With my mindless melodies of a middle way
Hearing the sound of the sackbut and dulcimer
Yet bowing down only to the One God
Of the unity that ought to be among us
In the face of division
Where my main lass sits on the front step
To test my faithfulness in a matter of love that has lasted
Yeah, I will plow my way through...
On Daniel 3:18
8-25-12
Daniel's brothers refuse the king's command
And were left unharmed in the fiery furnace
By the grace of God and not just somehow
As I repeat this simple story
Of my swig of the milk straight from the carton
To help the medicine go down
When it begins to take effect
In that today I allow well being
To wash over my face like waves at high tides
In a dream of coming to an understanding of it all....
New Drug, The Alliby
8-25-12
The new drug serves as an alliby for me to stay at home
And write poetry all day long
About new ways of getting high
This is my pillow and pillar to support the roof of my abode
As this new drug will be to me a reason to practice acceptance
Of the change of season
As leaves fall from trees and blow away
As soon I can feel the tranquility
So that I might write about it all the day....

Andalusia
Andalusia
8-24-12
In the Andalusia of my personal region in Spain
I practice acceptance for today's cloud coverage and rain
Even in that the sky is clear
Where I have my limited capacity
In the pleasure that comes with the pain
In my Andalusia in another dream
I sample a newfangled flavor of ice cream
Yet such lacks its taste
While in such a state of mind and heart
Wherein the Spirit still does its work in me....
On Luke 9:41 (look this up)
8-24-12
In our fatherless and perverse generation
We condone our infirmity
Of the bondage to which we are accustomed
In the day of our affliction
In that it is good that we have walked this way
For it is of us to bear such a nature
And grasp just what it is
To us aware of the flaws
And therefore equipped in our observation
In our fatherless and perverse generation...
Today, I Am Me
8-25-12
Today I am not one of the flock, herd, school nor pride
Today I am me and no one else
In that I like what I see in my looking glass
Hoping for a prolific Saturday to spend with my cat
Serving sufficient as a beautiful lass
Yet unfledged, green, callow and crass
Starting out my day with Ozzy
In that today
No, I'm not one of them....

clad
Clad
8-24-12
Clad in my burnoose on Arabian nights
Of frolicking with affections in my arousal
By means of the aphrodisiac
Suited up in the armor of the righteousness we choose
Wide awake by the light of day
Wherein I watch as I snooze
Knowing indeed that I will win
The moment that I claim to lose
Clad in my burnoose...
Where Rock And Gospel Meet
8-24-12
devising my latest anachronism and achronym
Bringing together the rock song with the hymn
seeking where two opposite extremes meet up
At the juxtaposition of a busy intersection
Where superimposed is all that appears subtle
Hoping for miracles and remedies
So that I might be fruitful
In that I wish to serve...
Bosporus
8-24-12
Fishing in my deep sea of Bosporus
Where the straight meets the mainland
Where I eat flesh rich in protein and phosphorus
Seeming to be quite as real as waking life
That resides with the situation on this day spent in mindlessness
When my cat does her thing where I practice acceptance of the reality at hand....
