Wildcat And Ocelot
4-27-09

We are yet to contend with the wildcat and the ocelot
We are yet to read a novel without its manifest plot
We are yet to guess of things  we already know that are
We are yet to compare a human soul to a first magnitude star
A pair of sunglasses are designed to shade ones eyes
And sometimes such a dark tingle  will cover up the informer's eyes
And by the grace of God I see my way through
As sure as forests are green and seas are blue
As the distinction is yet to be decided....

Eclectic
4-27-09

I am said to have an eclectic taste
As I cannot choose what I wish to hear in haste
So many alternatives
So many selections
I stop on the musical street corner to ask for directions
Nothing is eternal
When everything is both heavenly and infernal
I am said to have an eclectic view
Yet to see many shades of green and blue
The turkey trap is set
The dark meat is most delectable
All I can say is I love it...

Arabian Horse
4-27-09

We wonder can intelligence be found in a horse
As we realize that no one is exempt  from gravity's force
One more draught for which I fought
We come to understand even the thing which is not
As next I play the archive of nineteen seventy-four
As there will be an intersection and a union of peace and war
Tearing off the meat bit by bit
Considered a man wise while yet subject to our spit
Lingering on a pile of horse manure
Seeing myself as troubled yet therefore mature
We wonder can intelligence be found in a horse
To know no one is exempt from nature's course.....
