Prevail
11-29-15
Jacob had power over Esau
He was a tired man but he finally got some rest
The second death has no power over me
O, learn how to come back
And go down to dry off the bench
For other folks as Moses prevails against the Pharaoh
and power belongs to God
Having no fear of man prevailing in all ways
To gain the advantage
There are some poems for me to write
Such means that I will succeed....
By The First Watch
11-29-15
Power is not magical prayers nor charms
If I were a good man I'd accept your call and not be resentful
As so I pray on this much that I will love and understand
And with peace get back in touch
And for the view of lights lend a hand
If you can't sleep perhaps it is God that wants you to be awake
Yet to wrestle and float away for dust
As early as the first watch of day
I am conscious
Nor is power of mental energy
O, how do we have power but in our upreach
Time to get my glide down there to but minister.....
I Want More
11-29-15
Come the feast of Purim instituted
I want more
Such is what God wants me to feel
Sending letters to all the Jews near and far
Stop here for awhile and watch and pray
Slept till four
Stepped out for a smoke but it was raining
And decided not to light up
Would you like to say something on your arrival
I make thee a waste and reproach as I write this rhyme with haste
In remembrance of my job coach
I bring the sword upon thee and I destroy your high places
I want more....
Casting Pur
11-29-15
So be it a reproach and a taunt
Soon to catch my stagecoach
Like a spirit looking for houses to haunt
I send upon them evil arrows of famine
O, set your face towards the mountains
The sound of music in my ears
Like fountains in the month of Adar
Spring will strike again against the shield of winter
Chapter six puts fear in ones heart
Sing to me and call it a new start
I'm up for the day
Make the land more desolate than the wilderness
Towards Diblath and smile
To but shine your light forth...
