Teardew

Teardew
11-29-15

For teardew we cry
Of mildew we lie
Trying to cover it up as we sit on high
Our mojo of which we yet ask why
My amulet and charm and another phony false alarm
Make a claim for the land is full of bloody crimes
And the city is full of violence
Accept the rain and the sound of wind chimes
Assuming fifteen minutes of silence
As I do my chasse or strut and sashay
At last it is day
And I know we'll find a way
A trip one mile north
My offering is today...

On Ezekiel 7:25, 26 (look this up)
11-29-15

Of apostrophe and digression
Such a form of an address
Planting thyme
Just so I can make it rhyme
I also make the pomp of the strong to cease
And their holy places shall be defiled
Destruction and separation cometh
And they that seek peace will find what they are looking for
Another dark day but today I'm giving it all away
For ancient history, common knowledge
No longer pertinent
The bearer of my flag, banner and ensign
And standard mischief shall come
Upon mischief and rumor upon rumor....

One Persecuted
11-29-15

Then shall they seek a vision of the prophet
But the law shall perish from the priest and counsel
From the ancients before the Lord
The scene is in heaven but this here is my cord
And memories of coffee from seven eleven
For Job's dialogues with his councellors
Walking in the footsteps of the sweet delta dawn
Pertaining directly to the matter at hand
Relevant
Come the morning
I'll always be there
Comparative, not absolute
Ambiguous....
