May us consult the poisonous Eurasian plant of the henbane
And come to terms with flowers of greenish yellow
And to consider all of such species would be insane
Yet in the monotony we find our ways to keep cool, composed and mellow
In the time I heat up a bowl of noodle soup
As upon my shoe laces I am yet to tie a double loop
Such an esteem so is considered base
As the urgency so is shown upon my face

As trivial will be the invasion of the ant...




Of Vain Foresight

The oil does languish
New wine is dried up and the corn is wasted
Time has passed
Moments are savored and the wine is tasted
I sigh as I clench my teeth
I think of next Christmas and how I'll display my wreathe
Time to tune into that which doth arouse
To look forward to the boardwalk and where I will carouse
In dreams I make my moves by telekinesis
As I wonder of the nature of the thesis
The oil does languish

The optimists see half full the cup...

I wear black not to imitate Johnny Cash
Nor to draw to myself attention
I go the extra mile and take the extra lash
To keep my attitude in its check and suspension
That which I cannot bear to witness
I choose to see just the same
Ripping into my Metallica snack
With newfangled tigers and rattlesnakes to tame
Wine on an empty stomach
Rebellious, unconventional, advent garde
I improve in my own form of art
