Became as the chosen
In a basket in the river
By one faithful enough
To claim him for her own
Where I come to know that in this
I need not stand alone
In my search and study
For the strength of subtleties of savory
Silence between the notes played
Upon instruments of this enlightenment
That keeps changing every moment....

Led aright by our desires to do someone some good
Waking up early on another hump day
Ordained of God to serve the traveler well

Where I thirst and am quenched with a cold bottle
I've been keeping for hot times of wonderful refreshment

To see that to succeed one needs not go too far
Sitting by Jacob's well upon the sixth hour of the day
At the chime of noon
Where it's neither too late nor too soon
