Making supplication for the following twenty compositions
O, Lord willing and Thy will be done
In my upcoming endeavors and missions
Assuming in high places
Newfangled precarious positions
Where the sun through my window grows dim
Before I can see such bright
Where all that I learn in the darkness
I will speak in the light...

By my unrestrained pursuit of my desires
Flings are observed  with meat to be smoked
Upon revival fires where we gather
With flagons of wine
To bring tithes of our hires
Still in search for yet more and more
Supporting our soldiers
Yet not to condone the war
On this Fourth of July
Where I would rather be ignorant
In that on nothing at all
I get high...

Constantly in prayer
Seemingly striving against the wind
Like racking up points in a childhood game of chance
With my conscience telling me that indeed I have sinned
Dwelling in my Guiness shirt
Hoping to one day have one with Jesus in the clouds
Being almost three years clean and sober yet filthy and dry drunk
Been there and done that
Constantly in prayer
To yet obtain the land and her fat...
