Beset
7-3-13
Yet to be compassed and beset by infirmity and iniquity
Yet to be clad with the newfangled fashion and style of antiquity
Given another day prolific
Where words linger on the tip of another pen
Given the why and who
To determine the where and when
Still subject to such an imperfection
Where one is thankful
Even in the lion's den...
Crow
7-3-13
Of Eurasian crows
Our good Lord knows
A pleasurable itch upon my toes
Like the copulation of professional gamblers
And shrewd swindlers
Lingering on street corners
Waiting for their ride home
But we ask, O where is home
Stranded in the wilderness
Where the buffalo roam
Where we present our supplications
To inspire the words for this sixth tome
Where of Eurasian crows
Our good Lord knows...
Stir
7-3-13
Heterogeneous mixtures await those with a will to stir up the sediment
In choice and regal coffee cups to start a poet's day
In a more righteous way
During his sweet and bitter yet pleasant stay
For the sake of all that is written here
In that I request the love to cast out all fear...
