angle

Angle
4-4-13

Right at my rakish angle
I reason as a remedy for reticence
Isolated from what I could have seen
If I was to go there and see
All that my eyes have been starving for
At a feast where fate speaks with my karma
Reaching out for these opportunities to break the ice
And use such to make my drink cold and fresh
She is waiting for me there
For when I do arrive
Not a destination but another step along my way
Of chosen joy and gladness....

Checkpoint
4-4-13

Approximately twenty-two hours ago
I was standing on this side of the street
Where an angel passing through
Gives me good advice to stand instead in the sun
Yet I was ill equipped to accept such instruction
By my present tense analysis of the sunshine beaming
Upon the walls of such a Presbyterian church
Upon which I say this blessing
This is a good sign that I can still observe.....

Point Well Taken
4-4-13

Hoping to reach my point C
In the segments of what is made manifest
By the available light
Where I find new places to write
Given the next hour or so
To simply absorb the carbonation
That lingers with condensation
Of arriving before it would be time to depart
From points A and B
In these segments of what is provided
In what is clearly seen
Even in the obscurity
Of windows to look through....
