O, Help Them!
6-4-16
Pray, O use us Lord
Make us as sharp at your two edged sword
Pray, "O, help them through it"
Look at what God has given you and thank him a billion
In all that peace can attain from here to gloaming
Mean man brought down
Mighty are humbled
Some still draw from cords of vanity
And sin as if it were a cart rope
Saying, "Let him make speed and hasten his work
That we might see it"
I need it worse than you
But don't worry about me
Then shall the lambs feed after their manner exalted
In judgement and sacrifice
In righteousness o help me to eschew the pain
Summer soon is here and the time is right
To listen to the cricket song...
O, Firefly
6-4-16
Telling them how Sinbad was a sailor
O, firefly, shine your taillight
What is it by calling it a pool
The ocean had been spoken to before
Seasons have frozen ice into our souls
And my ashes are scattered when teachers' own experiences fail them
Establishing the word by his wisdom
Search the heart for something new to say about it
So far inland the very name of the ocean
My strength comes supernatural
Let him make speed and see to their need
Let him hasten his work
Grind shells, O futile sea
Grind empty shells
And have your clams steamed.....
