tumulus

Tumulus
6-4-16

I see the gallows and pray for God's mercy
In that I'm weary of what folks call home
So go, O, just go out there to roam
I am going nowhere, watch me
All hills did tremble and his hand hath smitten them
Where anger is kindled in all the poets that has written them
O, condemn all comfort
I could cloud up my room
But not with the smoke of last June
Given another windfall and nest egg
Loving life in the fenlands
Our marsh and bog
And the songs of another frog
Where I know our joy would fill the earth
And last till the end of time
O, tumuli can you take it
O, barrow where is your bliss....

Roaring (Like A Lion)
6-4-16

In the house out of town
I have the luxury to bask in cool air
Through my east wall
For fen, low and flat
O, when will we know where it's at
Get your stories in today
For tomorrow I might not be the same
And after all of that coffee
I was amazed that I could go back to sleep
I hope all was not in vain
Tell me that you love so I can rest in peace
Until you come to me
None shall be weary nor stumble among them
As their loins be loosed whose arrows are sharp
You've got your reasons
Draw the queen of hearts
Always your best bet
I feel like looking off the system for freedom
O, freedom, the only prison is in my mind....
