Flaw In The Slaw
6-4-14
Seeking to establish my own righteousness
In striving after the wind
O, God bless me for I have sinned
Saying it all over again to the west wall
Dinner for Christ is the outcome of the commandment
As Moses still writes about the law
As one to order up lobster with a side dish of coleslaw
O, it's all so good even in its flaw
Seeking to establish my own righteousness
It is my fleshly nature to look to those idols for my consolation
Trying to eat my steak raw
Therefore he makes the rampart and the wall to lament
And it was like a sketch I tried to trace and draw
Forming familiar shapes on the page
It all happens for a reason....
