Peaches And Pears
6-3-14
Crying out O, Abba Father
According to my inclination
Shouting out, O Halelujah and Hosanna
To be as my latest gesture of such invention
Meaning the next bar to rhyme with my good intention
Crying out O, Abba Father
The Spirit itself bears witness
And if we are children then we are heirs
Provided we suffer together
In knowing that He cares
So that we also might be glorified
By the fruit of the butler
Yet bears by this eager expectation
For this revealing of sweet dreams that overlap my nightmares
Crying out O, Abba Father
But not to compare the contrast
Of peaches and pears....
On Romans 8:20
6-3-14
For the creation is subject to futility
Not by its own will of meekness and humility
Taking a step down and a step back
According to the grace and agility
Subjected on the basis of hope of our peace and tranquility
This, my friend will be the true test
In slow games of poker where between moves I get my rest
As we ourselves will know the first fruits
And tomorrow head on back out west
As the creation is subject to futility
Yet all is not in vain
In that we regard it....
Best High, To see Things Exactly The Way That They Are
6-3-14
My uncle passed on once said
That the best high is to see things exactly how they are
And so tonight I say a prayer for him
As I gaze into the light of another first magnitude star
Regarding yet my Orion
In memories of brother Brain
He says, "o, what's up, man"
And I say nothing much
And if we hope for what we don't see
We will keep eagerly waiting for it with endurance
As love is a power greater than death
As in like manner the Spirit also joins in
With help for our weakness
Where the jungle is my head
In the Spirit of meekness.....
