A theory known as design
Though one may be overpowered by another
Two can withstand him
Wanting this to be more than just a collection of sayings
Time for my Irish Spring bath
Brother Gary filling in as the guest speaker
The rest of my day is spent in rhymes and rhythm
The sunshine is truly upon us
Concerning the conception of sons of men
Wickedness is here
As I draw a line
Walk circumspectly
One would suppose the choose
To be glad to see that which is not so bad
As others see it through
Yet revealing....





Silence Between Notes

For the multitude of dreams
For a better mood on Amaretto creams
Walk circumspectly
In hopes for the next five reams
Paper greed to fill the need
Nothing is as what it seems
Out of the mouths of sucklings cometh great wisdom
Time for a reheat for my flask
God knows what we want even before we ask
Psalm three for the morning
And for the evening five
For prayer and guidance
Six for cry for mercy
I will look up seven for supplication
For deliverance our open tomb and its yawning gulf
Selah....

Quality and quantity
Is garbage to be taken out
If you see a turtle on the top of a post
You know that someone helped him out
Let not your mouth cause your flesh to sin
Turning it over to Steely Dan for some middle ground
O, lock shields with people
And never mind the height of the steeple
Only by relationship with God can we be faithful
They wrote it on the wall so you and I can understand it
Better not to vow than to vow and not pay
Exactly as he came so shall he go
Home is what I have seen
