Fetish
6-4-14
How in turn will they hear without someone whom is sent
But just as it is written
How beautiful are the feet today
As sandals are in season
Nevertheless they did not all hear such a word
On the corner of Queen and Market Street
By the Way as Israel doth not fail the know
Just what next we are yet to say
I made up my mind
I will taste of the strongest meats
In that I finally get my milk
And my manna of rice pilaf and red beets
O, how in turn will they hear it
How beautiful are her feet today.....
Fleur-de-lis
6-4-14
By recollections of my fleur-de-lis
Of such an iris of three petals
I was down on one knee
But not according to what eyes could see
Taking a photograph of her but not for free
She said that she would break my arm if I did it again
In being all that I can be
By my recollection of my fleur-de-lis
According to such a stylized representation
On an alley that had no name
By my childhood nostalgia
Brought back into view
So that I might reach out again to you.....
