Plan
6-6-13
The greatest gift we can know
We don't spend a single dime for
When Jesus already paid the price
Where I have hopes to purchase new wineskins
That I plan to fill with good drinking water instead
In that all will perish of what we purchase
Along with meat, milk and bread
Being glad to have my hand to write and the ears to hear
What God has to say here now and today.....
On Isaiah 52:7
6-6-13
How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of whom bring glad tidings
To be shod with the readiness
Of what is right and true
To separate where you step from the earth and her soil
Not excluded in the list of many blessings
By the beauty of these feet that bring it all around...
Terebinth
6-6-13
The previous poem has led me
To a new and wonderful study
Of the terrible truth I hear in my God today
In hopes to be cleansed and to cry out to be changed
From the inside out
And to forsake my terebinth trees
I would once offer my devotions to
Because it seemed fitting when it started to rain
So that I might ask a blessing upon all grass and trees
That I become ashamed of
Of which I have yet desired.....
