void

Void
6-6-13

There is a void deep within me
That only my God can fill
In that I have made a mess of my life
In all the hours I try to kill
All I can do here is read the Scriptures
In hopes to be cleansed from all unrighteousness
Where no man has left his lot to follow Jesus
In his walk by which he tires
And burns out again by the void deep within
That only love can fill....

Quoting Apostle Paul
6-6-13

Learning how to be abased and to abound
And to any such state to be therewith content
According to Apostle Paul's epistle to Philippi
Repeated again today in my deep study
That makes me what I am
In Word and hopefully in deed
Where I can prosper even when I suffer a need
Instructed in all things
Yet wanting the more to apply it
When that which I ought to do
I still do not....

On Proverbs 6:6
6-6-13

Go to the ant, thou sluggard
That is still inside of me
And consider her ways of wisdom
In gathering blades of grass to build a new home
Found in mine integrity
Where trials being me closer to my God
To go to the ant that has not guide or overseer
And provides her meat come summertime
Seemingly bound by the strongholds
Where much of my substance is squandered
To refer to chapter six and verse six
Go to the ant, thou sluggard
That still is a part of me....
