Predaceous
3-16-16
Seeming fortune in the frozen north
Leads to another gold rush
Voice in my left ear says that I will eat
The lies like a T-bone
Ironclad on the Platte
Yes, I did relinquish my cowboy hat
Turning it over to Neil Diamond
For cholesterol and fat just as essential
I need to get it out of me
Bringing back that loving feeling
As so that day will not come
Except there be a falling away first
And later on all I know is thirst
O, paupers confound your pride
And publish that of our predaceous evermore
We will have our share to share....
A Show For Free
3-16-16
On the roof of stars
A show for free
Now you know what truth can do
Led in another direction by a call on my phone
Concerning false security for a countermand
And now ye know what withhold that it might be revealed
With all such reception within them
Love potion number ten
The memory of them is forgotten
Gazing at light in a reflection on my television window
It may as well be rotten
Will you still love me tomorrow
We take it all for granted and have another smoke
For the magic of your sigh....
No Thank You
3-16-16
Consuming with the Spirit
Eating in the flesh
By the brightness of your coming
Cruel but fair
Another word study on the shadow
Let another carousel begin
Bound to give thanks always
Come on over here and tell me what's on your mind
To the obtaining of the glory
We all have a story
Therefore stand fast
In hopes to make it last
Whether by word or epistle
Hold these traditions evermore
We will have our share
Don't be afraid to care
Where wisdom is better than strength
Nevertheless it is despised
And such words by choice
Can be heard just as well as these...
