devotion

Devotion
5-8-13

These days my life is devoted to Scripture study
As my only tale and quota of bricks that make up the wall
That I still tend to hide behind
Where such Scripture serves as nourishment
For my soul and mind
In that I find
That the truth is just as well quite kind
When indeed we can grasp it
With earthly senses by this available light
Where I practice joy
In any way I might know how...

Frozen Coke
5-8-13

Many are called but few are chosen
Where I invest a dollar
For a Coca Cola that is frozen
Reflecting on the last time I had one of these
Given my case of such brain freeze
Observing my black shirt upon which my seed is spilled
In last night of my sin to but heal
And so that I might rest my head to dream of my avarice
In pursuit of such music that I already have in my collection
Where many are called and few are chosen...

Foal
5-8-13

Mounting again my foal
In the setting of a measurable goal
I change the pen I use for the fruit of today's labor
In devotions seeing where so meet my thoughts with emotions
To yet find the wisdom of the middle ground
Audible to those with an open mind to new ideas
And thoughts to jot down here upon these pages of my testimony
Mounting again my foal to set again my measurable goal....
