no longer i

No Longer I
9-16-15

Riding on Daddy's shoulders
Love is just a way I live and die
Blue is just the Kansas sky
Your mantle wants much of you
Ones heavenly city
The meaning I believe Jericho doth represent our trials
Always another allergy
And to tell another wonderful story
Same war, another dirty little battle
Down to the core
By the book such a hammer
And its fire I prayed to learn of love
He done too much
It becomes commonplace
Lord's supper Passover
In the book he is the lamb
Get it right this time
And never mind building that dam
In a time of self examination and introspect....

Use Same Numbers, More Chance Of Winning
9-10-15

All of it magic
All that is new
The music is you
Be constant but not the same old, same old
One soul is well worth the struggle
For Jesus our Passover lamb
Like a night in the forest
Like a walk in the rain
God is a crutch in a time of trouble
But not only so
Let me drown in your laughter
Great secret to be constant
And hope for the hereafter
In a need to be cultivated
Even when by the world hated
Lay down and close your eyes
For what rest has been created in twisting rhymes
Put something in to get something out
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant
For great is the holy One....

Critique, Foolishness
9-16-15

The war that people work with their machinery
I am not one to say I know what it means
I do believe I saw the old man smile
Still in doubt of being a man of means
At least my computer is back up and running
And I will choose abstinence
When it comes to that smut
Yet to fasten and to fortify
Yet to establish standards, not holiness
But they produce it
David's exit from the kingdom
And Solomon's charge
I know what it means
As critique is foolishness
God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble
So that newcomers need not stumble
Roads travelled by many
And remembered by few....

O, Number Now
9-16-15

Philistines behold
Hebrews come out of their holes
Where they hid sweet wines
Never did get old
First slaughter of Jonathan
Twenty men within
As if it were a half an acre
That a yoke of oxen might plow
O, number now to see who is gone from us
As there should come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse
Gather in again when broken
Taking up my pen is my free token
O, bring here the ark
O, befriend your great white shark
There will be a great discomfuicture
But we are not left in the dark
Our new hid in Mount Ephraim
Lost and alone on some forgotten highway
Coming to a wood where there is honey on the ground....
