Vis-à-vis
10-28-15
The rain deters
All that is mine and hers
As sediment is flowing
From firth to gulf
Here's one for my demimonde
Vis-à-vis
Face to face with God himself
I remember the joy I had known
In roving to my tunes
An eye upon the broken crown
The rain deters
Our rower and our second crop
In the season of hay in our stables
Where we shovel the excrement
Vis-à-vis
Face to face...
Next Beast
10-28-15
For Rowdyism whomever he was
We revel and hold a feast
For moisture to our east
With bible studies on the next beast
In our Presbyterian kirk
It makes us want to go to work
Flunky and lavish
The land is cracked
And the land is sore in the unquestioning obedience
God wants us to want more across that shore
But what for
Mud down the drain was all in vain
As a candle brought to be put under a bushel
And not to be set on a candlestick
Nothing to be kept secret
That it should come abroad
Mud down the sink
It makes me think...
Dagobert (Call It Not)
10-28-15
The Union Jacks still remain
I can see it for there is nothing hid
Which shall not be manifested
One for Saint Denis
Our patron saint suffering martyrdom by decapitation
And the world won't stand still
For he that hath to him shall it be given
And he that hath not from he it shall be taken
Seeing in one blessed vision
The rejecting of the king
Call it not Dagobert
Unless you want to get hurt
For our fall of Rome
And our chalemagne
In my shoes there is so much to remind me....
Paragon Revisited
10-28-15
Of paragon and paladin
Our heroic champion
Comes on out to face his giant
To move these mountains
Our strong supporter
And reformed of our cause
It's a new day
Still hung up on my by-name
I would revel in with joy unspeakable
For the earth brings forth fruit of herself
First the blade and then the ear
All is readymade for love and not for fear
And when the fruit is ripe
Immediately he puts in the sickle
Because the harvest is come
Where clouds yet sheathe our Aquila....
