A Tempest Arose (For My Black Rose)
11-23-15
It is what it is
A two-edged sword that cuts both ways
Do you know how I feel
And do I know you
I must say both yea and nay
For more than these cometh evil
The Son of man hath nowhere to lay his head
Jesus enters a ship and disciples followed
I know it's not too late to make a change
To the sound of folk metal
The rose has her thorn and as well her petal
As the people besought him and You are God
Ready to pardon
Able of these stones
To raise up children unto Abraham...
On Nehemiah 9:17
11-23-15
Cold air dries wet hair and I don't mind
Even when I care
Why does he eat with publicans and sinners
Taking his seat with losers and with winners
As the people besought that Jesus would depart out of their coasts
You are gracious and merciful slow to anger
Abundant in kindness
And this is who we are
Passing over into his own city
Where even the pollution looks pretty
There arose a tempest and he rebuked the winds
Time waits for no man
And my faith is sealed
O, does this man blaspheme
Or is it only another sweet dream
As the moon is red and bleeding just as is He....
