jalousie

Jalousie
11-17-15

Yet in my partiality
I was born in a desert
So I purpose to build a house for Christ the groom
And we the spouse
Commanding to hew cedar out of Lebanon
My servants will be yours
Along with they who go on all fours
Yeah, she's going to miss me when I go
Play just for two and a half days
Speaking three thousand proverbs
And five and one thousand songs
For a couple more shots of whiskey
Another louver wide open
So we can see what is going on
Yet another lattice and another window pried ajar
And our jalousie of jealousy with our jalopy
We see fit to let the wind blow back our hair....

Jalopy
11-17-15

Old, decrepit and unpretentious
So is the used way of ones dreams
With your hair hanging down
She's taken and I ought to be glad for her
Roll those laughing bones and those crying tendons
For our hour of lovage
All for the love of all saints and sinners
Twenty measures of pure oil year by year
And thirty dollars to spend on coffee and have no fear
Yet another gasket
I will have no such casket
That one went down fast
Time for my first refill
Securing a furled sail to its boom, gaff and yard
I hand out another card
There, I killed it....

Piker
11-17-15

This here is all I have been doing for years on end
I do all that ye desire concerning timber and cedar
By which we build another bird feeder
Awesome, they're all here
Not a piker
Not Worf, not Riker
Yet to gamble and speculate
Yet to ramble in the love adulterated with raw hate
For the street cats making love
I reel in the pike and her flesh I do like
And as well reel in the walleye
On northeast America exotropia
With a touch of strabismus
Here we are all pulling for each other....
