His forgiveness is not a license to do wrong
But a chance to make a change
Not condemned but convicted
To change the way we believe in the things we want to revise
Like the carving of my diamond and such a polyhedron surface
Of what I am in me today of many facets to observe from a distance
In what I see in me....

Rejoicing in my day to day struggles
By the embracing of what seems contrary
Knowing God's mercies are new every morning
Back from my library retreat to fry up another eggplant
To serve as the spirituality
By my spatula of the wisdom in store
In this experience of enlightenment
Hoping to let it get brown and toast soon
As I wait for such a perfection to take form...

If indeed you believe It shall be established
Right in your backyard of divine vegetable gardens
Where business deals are made by the enlightenment
And the union of ones own soul
Becoming one with all essence
To find it there where it thrives
In that deep reach roots of ones reply
If indeed you believe
Then it shall be established....

Sometimes when we ask for it
We do so amiss
Hoping in what is that will align
Alongside all that which is this
In that we greet all of our brethren with an holy kiss
Saluting such with utmost reverence
When such a mark we miss
Still placing the cart before the horse
When sometimes when we ask for it
