Our localities are not our obstacle of his intimacies
Where nothing can separate us from his love made manifest in the darkness
That in him is the light having another jam session with this pen I take up
Like a beacon upon a hill
so many can see my light inherited
From the Just One on this night....

Light provides a definition
Where in darkness we are still not sure of what is true in this
As when we seek the truth
We ought not chase like waterfalls after a state of bliss
Where light provides a definition to things yet unknown
And in this, my friend we don't need to stand alone....




Gift

The joy of the Lord today is my strength
Yet to determine the breadth, width and length
Loving both vertically and horizontally
As well as the diagonal in the form of parallel lines seen as skew
Never meeting in my hopes that this hot sunny day will be fleeting
Where one cannot have this gift and hold it as ones own....

And not to be as the average taste or smell
God wants me to come out of my shell
God wants me to be sound as well
Embarking on another book
Written about what it is to find a better me
Where I'd much rather remain in the slumber of last night's eyes
Where God created me to excel...





The Law Is Read

From morning to midday
The law is read in high places
In the city built upon a hill
Where I am yet to trade my own way with God's will
Wherein there is beauty in being told I am wrong
As a chance to be right
Living my day as if it were my last
For a prolific time to write by this available light....
