Theophany
11-25-15
O, Alphonse
Many more glorious dawns
Our sclera with sister Sarah
Where the rubber meets the road
The covering of my cornea
Getting into Schweitzer
In present day Gabon
Our noted organist
Another theophany
My divine manifestation
I make the scene for the invisible stroller
And a phantom infant
Still a suckling
Get thee hence, O ugly duckling
Somewhere somebody's falling in love
Return unto thine own house
For Christ the groom and we, the spouse
Putting on her royal robes
To stand inside the inner court
For more than just sport
Present in Shushan
But not our last resort....
Insomnia (In The Book)
11-25-15
Bidden to a banquet of three
The king could not sleep
Insomnia runs deep
I spot out the jeep
Glad that she is here to take me where I want to go
And all I could say is that I don't know
As the king's sleep fled away
And it's going to be a beautiful one today
Of crescents and croissants
And a roll of leavened dough
Petty, trivial and addlebrained
It will never be enough
If I perish, I perish
Mind not these little words , careless
One more cup of coffee before I go
I pray for straight paths and travelling mercies
Amen and amen!
Seism
11-25-15
Our seism
Their earthquake
They've all been done in for heaven's sake
For Cro-Magnon man
About no height of the Paleolithic
To envisage our future possibility
If you think it might happen it will
But so be it
To each his own
It is as it is
There comes one named Jairus
With an issue of blood
In my tissue I chew the cud
Touching the border of his garment
I felt virtue flow from me
Immediately her issue is stanched, stopped and ceased
And all I know is that last night I peaced
Mourning among the Jews
Ambiguous, our seism....
