fratricidal

Fratricidal
11-24-15

Sluiced from our lake
A second multitude
The agonies of all out war over surplused water
And fratricidal tendencies
We struggle for the power
I sent them not to those dwelling in other cities
Sending them pestilence, sword and famine
As one to open cans of tuna fish and salmon
Yet to be as vile figs that cannot be eaten
I know thoughts toward you
Thoughts of peace and not of calamity
We take these things for granted
We will be as vile figs
Ye shall seek me and find me
I sent them not....

Craving For The Quelling
11-24-15

Those dwelling still remain
A craving for the quelling
It's enough to drive me insane
Up to now I'm doing the best I can
They will be as wise figs
Getting off topic and my rambling
Yet to ante up in my gambling
All bets on number six
Roll it right
Soon out again for another fix
And a hot Irish Spring bath
When the hour is out of sight
Of agreement, harmony and concord
Yet to encipher what is written here
Serving as a miracle of our Lord
Yet to idle and loaf and saunter to the bathroom
To do something about it....

Loam, Straw And Brick
11-24-15

Dream on brothers while you can
Where there is no vision the people perish
And I ask myself what makes me a man
Come earth, soil and loam
Come rebirth, oil, pewter and chrome
I put on such a zone
Just for Jesus
Silt, our smaller proportion of clay
For brick and for straw
Dream on sisters
I hope you find the One
Yet to be crushed to powder
All for Maaseirah
Soon we will see a new sun
So we can praise and give thanks
As gratitude will pull us through this holiday season....
