Jesus is not just a genie in a bottle
I will come back and get you
We are not left as abandoned orphan children
One cannot unbelieve the grace of God our mystery
And we cannot figure it out
Just how his blood could save us
Take captive all your thoughts
Whom he says I've got this
You can chill
"Yes, I believe"
Getting louder
That is Grace, a name for a cat
No one can beat that
All we know is that it works
In that it's just there
I have a plan and a place for you
So he says to me today...

Tomorrow I blog my post
And hope to get my printer back in check
In that lately such has been a wreck
Not an argument of how to get to heaven
Jesus wants us to be with him
And that's enough for me
To keep on doing my stuff

Jesus comes to make that connection again
Which is why today I take up my pen
I'm already connected
I don't need to join a club
I am the true vine
And my Father is the Gardener so he says
God on the offense
Not just hiding out
Always a conqueror
